Anybody else want people to follow you in-game?

like 1-2 people could join you on the journey?
Like Dento in the anime ( I know Anime =/= Games)

Pokemon is supposed to focus on YOUR journey, But I've been in a couple situations where I'm out of potions/whatever So it would've helped If I could've asked a person with me for a potion(If Im on a route/in a forest, etc).

I'm talking about story mode btw. I know wi-fi is having that world-link thingy with missions.

Oh i tried searching for this but couldn't find anything. sorry if this is repeated, and it could help if you would point me in the direction of a thread where I could post this.

It'd be weird if it's throughout the entire game....

and if they're with you in the entire game

it'd be too easy

run out of potions? well that means you just need to battle more trainers to get money
 
As of this time, it's obvious that won't happen. And frankly, how would that work? Would you have to train 6 other pokemon as well?

There's really no need for it, outside of the stat trainers.
 
I want the first Gym Leader and a girl in my starter town to follow me on my journey in Black and White. That way I'll mysteriously have a bunch of non-Isshu Pokemon in my PC from the start and a bitchin' load 'a Tauros.

No, They'd just be there for help. Like if you need something or have a question(Kinda like FR/LG with the help options) But this would be useful because there's alot of new stuff this gen.

It would be you, with a six party team. The other person could have like 3 pokemon that automatically get trained up (Whatever your party is, their lvls would be 1-2 lower than your pokes) And their team would depend on your starter choice.
(maybe they could be put in the storyline where you have to double/triple battle with them)

Probibly not but I remeber being suprised when Borck and Misty didn'r follow you in Yellow (I blame the Anime and Movie for that one though)
 
As this is not going to happen in Black and White, moving to Video Games.

? Their pokemon wouldn't count for anything you do like PCs or Pokedex or whatever, They'd just be there to help out with stuff.
I just thought this idea would give pokemon a bit more of an rpg feel...
 
The stat trainers temporarily joining you was, in fact, a very cool notion. Personally, I'd like to be able to repeat those sections of the game, but what they did in DPPt is probably the extent of what we'll get.

Alternatively, allow NPC teamups on some of the High Link missions in BW. Even better, allow co-op high link missions. Assuming that the missions are repeatable, that pretty much alleviates the problem, yes?
 
Nop, it would be weird, I'd rather have the whole party following me... wich doesn't make much sense either.
 
If you mean more stat trainers, then yes. I would kill to battle anyone with my pokemon back at full health after every single battle.
 
I want to say no, because Pokemon is a monster capturing RPG, not your typical party one, but people have been looking for something new to see from the series. Maybe this is it.
 
Temporary trainers? Fine.

Someone falling you around for half of the game? No. Gimme Pokemon that follow me, not humans.

Especially Scythers that kiss you on the cheek and Ampharos that will look at other Ampharos and be lustful about it.

That's what I learned from playing HeartGold.
 
if it means i could still have double battles and a walking pokemon center with me, then heck, im all for it!
its how i caught my shiny Hoothoot in Pt xP
 
It was cool in Colosseum, but it would be kinda annoying in main games I think.
