Anyone Else Hate Smogon?

I was just wondering if anyone else shared my feelings towards the "Supreme All-Knowing Governing Body Of Pokemon"

They have been getting on my nerves, as you can tell, and I just needed to vent with some people who share my feelings.
 
Meh, the whole competitive battling thing kinda annoys me. I don't "hate" Smogon, it's really good for battlers, I'm just not that into it.
 
I hate tiers. I think they take the fun out of battles. In my mind, Smogon is the "hub" for that crap, so I don't like it. I'm with you!
 
I'm a fan of casual battling (no IVs, EVs, or special training) so Smogon does nothing to benefit me. Although...I kinda like how they can help you choose what moves and items to give your pokes if you need help team building.
 
I dont hate smogon, they gave me extremely helpful info in regards to rng-ing. but i really dont like the meta game, tiers, etc. I just play the game normally
 
The only thing about Smogon that annoys me is that it essentially has turned Pokemon into a game where no one uses Pokemon they like but whore out guys like Scizor, Salamence, Gyarados, and others. My team usually looks like this: Sceptile, Electivire, Starmie, Typhlosion, Umbreon, and a 6th guy depending on my mood. Using these makes me a "horrible" battler by their standards because I choose to not hack/RNG to get perfect IVs and Hidden Power and because I'm not whoring out the overused Pokemon. EV training I do do, but it's getting ridiculous when the same Pokemon are just being used over and over and over again because of a tiering system.
 
I only rng for shininess, i really dont care about natures, iv's. but i still need to get the hang of rng-ing. I dont quite got it yet :sweat:
 
I don't hate them - they do provide lots of technical data after all - but I'm just not into competitive battling in general.

Also, Shoddy Battle should support the importing of .pkm's, if it doesn't already.
 
This could easily be a blog. We don't need threads designed to bash other Pokémon communities.
