Does anyone else here go to one of The Art Institutes?

I know they have many of them across the U.S. So, I was wondering if anyone here is going to one of those colleges now, or if you hope to go there when you graduate from high school.

I'm only in my 3rd quarter at AI (of Pittsburgh), but I've gotta say, this is one of the best colleges in the U.S., I think.

It's really great. ^^

It has a Student Lounge on the first floor, along with Student Services and Career Services (yes, they even help you get a job!).

And of course, there's the programs, which are all amazing. They have majors like Game Art and Design which is what I'm trying to get into, Graphic Design, Fashion Desion, Photography, Media Arts and Animation, Interior Design.

I really like the classes that I have as well, they're great, and so are *most* of the teachers here. ^^o

Back in high school when I was pretty serious about becoming an art major I looked into the Art Institute of Seattle, which sometimes spoke to my art classes.

What they didn't tell us at the time was how much it costs to go to one of those schools. I could never afford that.

Yeah, they *are* really expensive, unfortunately...... O_O

But, thankfully, they do have all kinds of financial aid available, so for example if you do the FAFSA and fill that out, it might be possible for you to receive grants or scholarships that way. And those could help you out A LOT.

Or, if that doesn't work, you could always get loans. And that's exactly what I had to do (lol).

Also, they even have a good financial aid department here, so if anything comes up where you have to sign something or fill something out regarding any of your loans, all you have to do is go over to whoever your loan officer is. ^^

Hopefully, once I graduate from here, and if I find a great job in the game industry, then I would eventually be able to pay all those loans back. ^_^
