Everybody talks about what the Ultra Beasts are based on. The Seven Deadly Sins? SM characters? USUM characters? I may have found another potential inspiration. Meet the body.
Let’s get the obvious ones out of the way. Guzzlord is a mouth, it has mouth-related moves, it has mouthes on it’s body, and it’s dex entries say it eats almost anything. Buzzwole is based on muscles since it flexes all the time and looks like human muscles. It also goes great with Pheromosa, based on bones, since the two allow the human body to move (something Pheromosa is awesome at doing.)
Nihelego has neurotoxins that it injects via attaching to someone. This is like a white blood cell, and guess what color UB-01 is? Xurkitree is based on wires and can shoot electricity and possibly could be used as wires. This is like neurons. Kartana has a masterful Defense but is very thin, like our skin being thin and burned easily but is a very good way to protect against viruses.
This leaves us with Celasteela, a rocket Pokemon. I think it’s based on the lungs. It’s part flying type and can shoot gas from it’s arms. The gas could be Carbon Dioxide and flying because it takes the air into it. It has two long arms that could be like the two lungs humans have.
What does this mean? Nothing. It could be false, but it is intresting. It might mean Ultra Space is just inside someone’s body, but it might not. It’s just a small thing I realized about the UBs.
