Well, yeah. I've been into Pokemon for quite some time, pretty much since middle school, and it was really just a solo thing. I only found out Bulbapedia existed a few weeks ago, and through that I found these forums. And also since there seems to be a pretty active community here as well as at least somewhat accepting (if one of the recent news posts and the related comments tell a tale) one as well. So, yeah, here I am. What I can give back to the community isn't much in a hardcore physical sense but more in a writing sense; I've been an on-again off-again writer for much of my life, and though I told myself several times I would never write fanfiction I'm beginning to doubt it when looking at the depth of the Pokemon universe.

Er. As for interests it's pretty much all Ghost types. Ghost and Dark, those two. I never really enjoyed above Gold and Silver game-wise, the whole game seemed to feel too bloated and monster-of-the-week-ish with the additional pokes.

So. Uh. There it is. My introductory post.

Ghost and Dark Types are really cool, especially Dark Types!

Welcome to the forums, fellow Dark type fan. We're glad you chose BMGf and really hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome to the Forums, Abscond! Cool username ; )
If you're interested, the Writer's Workshop is here. And even if fanfic-writing doesn't strike your fancy, don't worry - you can still post non-Pokémon writing there.
Have fun, and post wisely!
