[Earl]Okay class, pay attention! [/Earl]

This story takes place a few stories after that firs one I sent in. If this were a real episode, it would be -- say -- six episodes later. Between here and there, not much has happened.

Sato-tachi met with a guys named Ryota. (The guy in Ru/Sa who needs you to save his Kyamome. If you do, he gives a boat ride to the next city.) I don't know if that is the guys's actual name, but it is what I have named him for the story.

Haruka = Well, you know!
Masato = Haruka's lil' bro. The "human Pokedex."

Sakaki = Giovanni
Nurse Joy = ... Nurse Joy! ^^; Her name in Japan is "Joi," which is pronounced roughly the same as Joy.

Okay1 I hope I did well on this one. I put it together quickly. (About a day.) But, I tried my best to give attention to detail. Enjoy!

There are two parts to this. I'll put up the first part for now.

EDIT: Oh, and you may notice Aqua Gang is deathly afraid of the Rocket Trio. That is because, as we always suspected, the Rocket Gang had untapped potential. Apparently, they have used it, and performed quite admirably.

When they first got to Houen, Sakaki (Giovanni) told them they should work to make TR popular in Houen. That is why they talk about popularity so much when TA [or TM, in some cases] is around. As I say, it looks like they are doing a decent job. Whether Giovanni knows it or not, I can't say. I didn't plan that far back!

The sandy beach of Muro stretched on for seeming miles. the only relief from sand was the occasional palm tree. They were on the very eastern tip of the inhabited parts of the island.

They had departed from Ryota-san many hours ago. They had stopped quite often - on account of Haruka and Masato, mostly.

They were making good time to the next gym, however. Haruka seemed in good spirits, as such."Kasumi-sempai," Haruka began. "Will there be time for another expedition match today?"

"Haruka-chan," Kasumi started. "You are an eager pupil! We just had an expedition match an hour ago."

Haruka nodded. She chimed, "Yes, sempai. But, it is good experience for my monsters, as I keep on winning!"

Kasumi's face narrowed. "That is because the only Pokemon I have is... Koduck!"

This is the world of Pokemon. Sato-tachi has arrived on the island of Muro after many long months. Having been rejoined by Kasumi, there is a certain feeling of old times among the team. For Haruka, it is her pleasure to be tutored by Kasumi.

Satoshi remarked, "Kasumi, why do you not simply catch another Pokemon? It should not be difficult with your many rods and lures to assist you?"

Kasumi became very glum. "I am sad to inform you, Satoshi, that I left my rods and lures back in Hanada."

Takeshi pointed out, "You could simply buy new rods and lures, Kasumi. This is an island. There are probably markets devoted to nothing but fishing."

"No, Takeshi," Masato interjected. "You can find Water Pokemon even outside the water."

He continued, "Kasumi enjoys Water Pokemon. Therefore, we can either loan her your Mizugorou and Hassuboh--"

Takeshi seemed furious with the idea. "They are my prized monsters! No one may take them from me while I am alive! How hard I have worked to groom them just so!"

Masato was unphased, and pointed to a group of Pokemon. "Or, perhaps Kasumi-sempai would care for one of those Kyamome over there."

Takeshi massaged his chin and became instantly calmed. "Ah, yes, the lovely Kyamome. Such is always an option."

AQUA GANG! KASUMI AND ANATAMA'S BATTLE STRATEGY!

A flock of Kyamome huddled around something and apparently attacking it in a gang. As Sato-tachi looked closer, it became apparent what it was - a Pocket Monster.

"Tama!" came a weak, faint cry - over Kyamome's shrill call, that is.

Masato looked apalled. "I understood that such monsters were scavengers, but I did not know that they were bullies!"

Haruka added, "Ryota-san's Kyamome seemed friendly enough.

Satoshi eyed the Kyamome greedily, thinking perhaps he should capture one, too. Kasumi knocked into him and threw him off balance. Pikachu struggled to maintain his position on Satoshi's shoulder.

She scowled out at the gulls. "I will not stand for bullies! Get them, Koduck!"

She threw a monster ball, and from it came an inane duck Pokemon. "Quack!"

Kasumi's expression darkened. "Why did I bring him, anyway?"

Haruka was quite exuberant. "Do not worry, Kasumi-sempai! I shall fight them for you! Go on, Kinoko!"

A mushroom Pokemon came out of the ball Haruka chucked. "Is it not adorable! It is my ecstasy mushroom!"

Kasumi chided, "I think you have breathed in too much of you little mushroom, Haruka-chan."

Haruka hugged Kinoko tightly, and a light mist of powder errupted from the mushroom monster. Haruka ended up freezing perfectly still. Her eyes watered, and bulged from her sockets. She grimaced and began to quiver.

"Kino," the Pokemon snorted. Takeshi came over, spraying Haruka in the face with a healing spray. She quickly shook out of her catatosis, dropping Kinoko in turn. She refocused with incredible speed.

"Kinoko," she began. "Tackle those bullies immediately!"

Kinoko trundled over to one of the Kyamome - the leader of the flock, apparently - and knocked into it. The gull was only dazed for a moment. When it had recovered, it called the attention of the rest of the flock. It didn't look good for Kinoko as focus shifted to the mushroom monster from whatever Pokemon had been under attack before. A little sweat drop ran down Kinoko's face.

There was a few seconds as Kinoko was repeatedly sent sprawling that everyone's mind blanked. It was a welcome turn when a scratched-up Kinoko sprayed a fine mist of spores into the faces of the Kyamome. They tumbled to the ground, immobilized.

"Now, Kino--" Haruka started. But, she was interrupted by Koduck. The obtuse duck let out a tummultuos rush of water, and both the Kyamome and Kinoko were knocked totally insensate.

Kasumi's brow convulsed wildly. "Did Koduck just..."

"That was incredible," commented Takeshi.

"But, having understanding of Koduck, rather unexpected," Satoshi added.

Masato hollered, "Kasumi-sempai, what are waiting for! Use a monster ball to capture one of the Kyamome!"

Kasumi was still preoccupied by the sudden potency of Koduck. She stuttered, "Y-- yes, of course!"

At that moment, the leader of the Kyamome zipped back up and rushed at Kasumi. It looked quite unfriendly. Kasumi yelped, and then instinctively hurled the ball at the gull. She had intended to brain the agressive creature, but instead achieved a capture. In a jagged stream of red energy, Kyamome was drawn inside the ball.

The ball clattered to the ground. It tottered back and forth, and everybody watched intently as it flashed red in the center. It emitted a high clanging noise to indicate that capture was in progress. Finally, a louder clang was heard, indicatig a successful catch! Kasumi quaked in delight!

"Great!" she squealed. "Now, something stronger than Koduck."

Koduck did not seem to mind that. "Quack!"

Kasumi scooped up the ball, staring at it proudly. There was a pained whine from just below her. "Huh?"

She looked down, scared senseless at what she saw. Her entire body twitched. "IT'S A BUG!!!"

"Tama! Tama!" squeaked the pint-sized critter.

Masato was overjoyed, as usual! "This is wonderful! It is an Anatama, the water strider. It has an awesome characteristic - it moves faster when moving in watery places!"

Satoshi reached to get the Zukan from his backpack, but was crashed into by Kasumi again. He shouted in response. "Knock it off, Kasumi! You said you were over your fear of bugs!"

Kasumi whined, "But this one is small and spindly. I do not like it at all, Satoshi!"

Anatama moaned, looking like its feelings had been deeply wounded. Haruka trekked over to Anatama. "Ah, Kasumi-sempai, it is so adorable."

Anatama winced, and shot a jet of bubbles in Haruka's face. Haruka was aghast, to say the least. "Then again..."

Anatama ambulated towards Kasumi, smiling warmly. Kasumi ran in the other direction, skidding down a rocky hillside and smashing her head into a stone on the way down."

"It is painful," moaned Kasumi. When she saw Anatama coming, she screamed again. She ran for the Pokemon center.

Haruka frowned, her face narrowing. "Should we follow after Kasumi-sempai?"

Satoshi shared the same look of overall disgust as Haruka did. "I suppose we must."

"Yes," Takeshi barked.

Behind an outcropping of boulders, the Rocket Gang watched attentively from binoculars. Musashi informed, "It is those brats. They have made it to the island, and they are running."

Kojiro grabbed the binoculars from Musashi's hands. He scanned the scene for anything unusual. He reported what he found. "Oh, it is that red-head brat. She is running from a Bug Pokemon!"

"Is it not always so with that little bitch?" Nyasuu asked rhetorically.

Poof! "Sooonansu!" So it is.

It was a return to the ball for Soonansu, and then the gang conversed among themselves freely again. Kojiro asked, "Shall we try to thieve Pikachu again?"

"We should do more planning first," Musashi told him, grabbing the binoculars. She was astounded by what she saw.

"Kojiro, Nyasuu, look at this please!" she beseeched. In turn, she passed the binoculars to Kojiro. Kojiro also looked quite surprised. He handed the binoculars down to Nyasuu.

"S-- son of a bitch," Nyasuu stuttered. "It is the Aqua Gang!"

Poof! "Sooonansu!" So it is.

This time, Soonansu was allowed to remain with the rest of the gang. They all gazed east at an unfriendly looking craft with a billowing flag flying at port. On the flag was a massive letter "A."

Musashi announced her plan. "We shall not attempt to thieve Pikachu this time -- not right away, in any case. Instead, we shall do as the Boss has ordered."

Kojiro stood up and added, "Yes! We shall strive to make the Rocket Gang popular here in Houen."

"We shall battle battle the ancient team, and we shall be victorious," Nyasuu assured.

"We are the hopeful Rocket Gang," Kojiro threw in. "When we are done, we shall make quick work of thieving Pikachu!"

"He shall be weaker, and easier to plunder," Musashi mused.

"Soooonansu!" So it is.

"Now, let us depart for our times of glory have arrived along the eastern shore," Nyasuu cheered.

"Soooonansu!" So it is.

Musashi looked down at Soonansu, landing a foot on the black tail which joined his blobby blue body. Soonansu struggled and howled. Musashi declared, "You are getting on my nerves!"

===

On board the light cruiser of the Aqua Gang, the entire crew was outfitted in pirate-like attire. Blugiri, or Boss Aqua, as he was often called by his inferiors, scratched at his thick beard. "You are so certain that this is a good island for plunder?"

Two grunts - one male and one female - hurried to their bosses side. The female grunt placated, "Yes, of course, boss. The island of Muro is far from mainland Houen and it is rumored to have low security."

The male grunt seconded the sentiment. "Yes, the coast guard only passes by once every week! We are certain to have success, I assure you."

"We will have success as long as the Magma Gang does not show up," Blugiri corrected. He clenched teeth and fists. "Or, that damned Rocket Gang! I find it quite rude of Sakaki of the Rocket Gang to send his best members out to Houen. They mercilessly intrude on our territory, and always manage to use their superior strategies to defeat us. To hell with you, Sakaki."

Blugiri closed his eyes, and was certain he could see Sakaki in that gaudy orange business suit of his. Sakaki said, "You may have sent my agents from Houen once, Blugiri. But, I have finally found a team to match you. Meet the lovely Musashi, her handsome partner Kojiro, and their ultra-powerful Nyasuu!"

Blugiri opened his eyes and shook the vision from his mind. "Let us hope that they do not interfere this time. Now, full speed ahead! Yo ho!"

"Yo ho!" answered his crew. The cruiser sped for land with alarming pace.

Kasumi had lost Anatama and the rest of Sato-tachi as she flew into the Pokemon Center. A Nurse Joy beamed at her. "Good day! Can I offer assistance."

"Yes, Joy-san," answered Kasumi. "I have just battled this Kyamome and captured it. It is in need of recovery."

"Yes," Nurse Joy answered. "Give me the ball, and I shall bring it to the recovery ward."

"Very well," said Kasumi. She took the ball in her hand, and was in the process of putting it into Joy-san's own outstretched hand. Without warning, there was the sound of an explosion, and smoke filled the room. Kasumi fumbled the ball back into her fanny pack.

"Rocket Gang..." Kasumi snarled. As the smoke cleared, she was surprised to see she had been mistaken.

All of them were dressed as pirates. They were blue rags on their heads with a blue "A" emblem on them. Their shirts were striped blue and white, and their long blue trousers cascaded down over their polished black boots. Black gloves with the fingers cut out adorned all their hands.

There was one in particular that looked very intimidating to Kasumi. He wore tattered looking blue denim vest. His pants were black, and he had a thick pirate beard. His muscles bulged on his arms as he flexed them. His pectoral muscles were tight as a drum against his large frame.

"Guess again!" he spat. "I am Blugiri, leader of the Aqua Gang."

Joy-san looked horrified as Blugiri motioned to a few grunts to hold a struggling Kasumi. One male grunt grabbed Kasumi around the shoulder, and a female held her kicking feet. Kasumi kicked like a mule at the girl, succeeding a few times to bite the guy.

"Owie-owie!" were the screams of the two grunts. They were ignored by Blugiri, however. Blugiri leaned over the service desk and tapped on the call bell. He pused in close to Joy-san's face.

"Now," he growled. "Give us all the Water Pokemon you have in this center."

"You can't have them!" screamed Joy-san. She shyed away a little. "Leave us alone, or else..."

"Or else what," cackled Blugiri. "You'll call the cops? You'll call for help? You have nobody to help you now."

"I do not believe--" a male voice began.

"Sooonansu!" It is so!

"You'll have to face us now," said a female voice.

A scratchy cat voice spoke next. "You shall have to face the furious wrath of..."

Kasumi immediately recognized the voices. The Aqua Gang all about-faced to look their way - even Blugiri!

The trio had struck a pose, and announced their identity. "The Rocket Gang!"

Blugiri broke into a sweat. "N-- no! Not them!"

...

Well, what did you think of part 1?

Next part!

I think some of you guys are getting confused! This may be harder than JTC was. Here I am talking about people that most of you are still an entire season away from seeing!

Well, perhaps this will help you - I am portraying Haruka pretty accurately. I know some of you think I'm being anti-Haruka. However, Haruka is much like Pan-chan from DBGT. That is how I am making her here.

In addition - to any who have seen the rarely seen series, "Trigun" - the whole "sempai" ordeal is based loosely around the fact that Milly Thompson always calls Meryl Stryfe "sempai." Milly kind of reminded me of Haruka, too. A little ditsy, but with great potential and a kind heart.

Also, I may be posting a picture of "season 7" Misty in the art section tonight. Thank God my art skills have improved since I did my last fan art. It was for JTC. Boy, did it suck!

Anyway, here's the next part. Yes, as there is a snippit preview at the end, I will probably do another one of these stories.

...

"What do you want?" Blugiri demanded.

Musashi, "If you keep asking us this and that--"

Kojiro, "Our answer will be society's popularity."

"Strong enough to prevent world destruction!"
"Famous enough to protect world peace!"
"To penetrate the evils of fame and fortune."
"The brave and fearsome villians--"
"Musashi!"
"Kojiro!"
"We are the Rocket Gang couple, known well around the galaxy!"
"A white hole! We are bringing forth a white tommorow!"
"Nyasuu! It is--"
"Sooonansu!" So it is.

"Rocket Gang?" Kasumi mumbled to herself. She managed to shake loose of the grip the two grunts had on her. She stood up, looking puzzledly at the Rocket Gang.

"Brave?" she repeated. "Fearsome?" She began to laugh incontrollably. "You must be a different Rocket Gang!"

The Rocket Gang turned glum. Nyauu lamented, "Why must she bring up examples of our past failure."

Musashi gave a decree of, "It is nt the time to worry about it! We shall defeat the Aqua Gang!"

===

Outside, Sato-tachi rushed for the Pokemon Center. They stopped about one hundred yards from the buidling when Satoshi picked up a pair of binoculars from behind a fake-looking bush in the center of the sand. He noticed the big red letter on the side - an "R." "Wh-- What? These are the Rocket Gang's!"

"Pi-pikachu!" Pikachu agreed.

Haruka looked over at the Pokemon Center, and saw something quite peculiar. She was taken aback, gasping, "Everyone, please look!"

Sato-tachi all looked in the direction Haruka was pointing. Outside the Pokemon Center, a convoy of Aqua Gang vans and jeeps were parked. Satoshi used the binoculars to take a closer look. It looked like there was chaos going on in the center, and through it all was Anatama skittering about and heading for the building. It stopped, looking in at the center and growling. Satoshi lowered the binoculars.

"Guys, I think Kasumi might be in a lot of trouble," Satoshi proclaimed. "Get to that Pokemon Center."

"Yes," barked the rest of the Sato-tachi. They made a dash for the center.

===

"It is time to release our Pokemon," announced Musashi. "Go, Habunake!"

"Now you, Sabonea," shouted Kojiro. The cactus plant Pokemon whisped out of the ball and hugged to tightly to Kojiro's neck, diggin its needles into the flesh. "Yarrrggh!"

"Habunake," Musashi started. "Poison Tail attack!"

"Naaaaa!" hissed Habunake, knocking down several grunts with it's sharp, muscular tail.

"Sabonea," ordered Kojiro. "Do the Pin Missle, now!"

A vast array of stinging needles shot out of Sabonea's arms and showered down on everyone in front of the service desk and before the Rocket Gang -- including Kasumi!

"Owie!" Kasumi yelped.

Blugiri stepped forward when the poison shower stopped. "If you want a real battle, then I'll give you one." He released a Guraena, a vicious looking wolf monster. It growled low at the Rocket Gang.

The Rocket Gang withdrew back. "This looks bad," Kojiro expressed.

"We mustn't let down the Boss," Musashi rebuked. She straigtened back up. "Habunake, Wrap!"

Habunake hissed, getting Gureana constricted in a hardy grip. Blugiri shouted, "Guraena, use Crunch!"

Guraena was in no condition to take orders. It was quickly losing oxygen, the strength bleeding from it at the hands of Habunake.

"Habunake," Musashi began. "Lick attack, and then Toxic Tail to finish it."

Habunake obeyed. It stuck out its long tongue and swiped it across the struggling Guraena's face. Instead of struggling, the wolf Pokemon started to quiver. It's eyes bulged from its sockets, and it was paralyzed.

Habunake tossed Guraena into the air, and then struck it like a baseball into its owner. With crushing force, Blugiri slammed into the service desk. The desk shook, and Joy-san behind it screamed. Kasumi thought she felt deja vu when the grunts spread out to surround the Rocket Gang.

"I think they mean to have vengeance, Musashi," explained Kojiro as he gripped her in an embrace.

"Vengeance is a dish best served cold," said Nyasuu. "Right now, my bones are stone cold so that I am shivering."

From a frightened Soonansu, "Sooonansu!" So it is.

"Just who do you think you are, anyway," Kasumi snarled. Both gangs looked at the Water trainer.

"Look, Musashi," Kojiro beamed. "It is that bratty girl who travel with the bratty kid with the bratty Pikachu we are trying ot thieve!"

One of the male grunts answered, "We are a team dedicated to using Water Pokemon for evil!"

Kasumi steamed at this answer. "Water Pokemon! EVIL!"

The grunt himself began to shake uncontrollably as Kasumi loomed over him with a mallet in hand. She bellowed, "YOU SHALL FEEL MY WRATH!"

The next thing anyone knew, Kasumi had withdrawn a ball from her fanny pack. She thought to herself, I hope you have recovered somewhat.

"Go, Kyamome!" She hurled the ball into their midst. She was about to order the monster to attack, but it screamed toward her and began to drill at her head.

"Ooowwiiie!" she yelled.

Blugiri, his eyes spinning, managed to draw himself up for a moment. His Guraena was beside him, equally as dazed as Blugiri was. "It serves you right," he hoarsed. He collapsed into the desk again, knocking the call bell off and onto his head. It made a shrill ding.

Kasumi returned Kyamome, looking at a crowd of hysterical Aquas. The door of the center opened, and in strode a little blue bug. Kasumi shyed away at first, but when the bug leapt in front of her defensively, she felt hope return.

Kasumi put her fear aside for a moment. This tiny, spindly bug was less to be afraid of than the gang of Aquas. "You want to help me, Anatama," she asked.

It nodded, "Ana!"

Kasumi began to look very confident. "Great! Then try a Bubble attack!

The Aquas looked at the water strider, and began to laugh harder. They stopped laughing when a barrage of stinging bubbles poked and stabbed into them harshly. They all slipped in the watery mess that Anatama was making. Anatama moved faster.

Masato's words rang clear in her head. What had he said this morning? "It has an awesome characteristic - it moves faster when moving in watery places!"

"Anatama, use a Quick Attack!" Kasumi ordered. It sprang around like greased lightning, knocking Aqua Gang members into chairs and walls.

===

Sato-tachi stood in front of the doors, about to enter. They were trampled by a swarm of wet, frightnened Aqua Gang members. Their leader pushed along behind them.

As the Aqua Gang got a few yards away and stopped, Sato-tachi laid just across from the Rocket Gang. Sato-tachi was sprawled, dazed, on the sand in front of the center's door. The Rocket Gang was on the other side of the door in the same condition. Kasumi stepped on them both teams as she left the Pokemon Center.

The Aqua Gang leader shook a fist at Kasumi. "You don't know who you're messing with, little girl!"

Kasumi's temper at the Aqua Gang had been building from the word "evil." She looked at Anatama and inquisited. "We have to get rid of these guys. What else can you do."

Anatama, despite his size, looked quite ferocious. He opened his mouth and let loose a raging torrent of water. Kasumi was awed. She marveled at this latest feat of Anatama. "A Hydro Pump! This is an incredible monster! I must have it for my own -- bug or not!"

Aqua Gang was in a convenient pile now. Sato-tachi and the Rocket Gang had pulled themselves up. Satoshi surveyed the situation. "So, it is the Aqua Gang. Pikachu, 10,000 volt!"

Pikachu sprang to a position in front of Anatama. It sprayed a mess of sparks at the Aqua Gang. They convulsed in the current, having been wet on top of the electricity. It was super effective! When Pikachu stopped, Satoshi was ready to order a final attack.

"Pikachu, use--"

Musashi cut him off. "Habunake, don't let him steal our popularity! Give the Aqua Gang a send-off with Poison Tail!"

Habunake whizzed by Sato-tachi, and swung its tail so hard it send the Aqua Team into the air and out of sight. Nyasuu remarked, "That feels very bad, I assure you."

Everyone turned around to face the Rocket Gang. Satoshi nodded, and smiled at them. "Thank you, Rocket Gang. You did very well."

"Do not that us, brat," said Nyasuu. "For now we shall thieve your Pikachu!"

Satoshi was very confused. "Why are you being so ridiculous."

"We do not call it 'ridiculous,'" remarked Musashi. "We simply call it 'getting what we want.'"

Nyasuu took out a controller box. From it came a glass tube held by two grabber arms. One grabber arm removed the lid of the tube and then plopped Pikachu inside. The arms screwed the lid back on, and then retracted. Pikachu tried shocking his way out of the tube. It was no use, it simply lit a lightbulb on top of the lid.

The Rocket Gang laughed at how easy this had been to achieve. Nyasuu punched another button and a Meowth balloon floated out of the horizon. It was close enough to the ground so that the Rocket Gang could simply hop inside. When they had, the balloon began to ascend rapidly.

"See you brats!" the Rocket gang taunted. They pulled down one eyelid and stuck out their tongues.

"Pika-pi," Pikachu moaned.

Satoshi released Subame, and instructed, "Subame, pierce the balloon with your beak.

"Suba!" cawed the swallow Pokemon. It flew up high, and rammed its short beak into the balloon's fabric. It was no good, as Subame just bounced back.

"No good, brat," Musashi yelled down. "This balloon cannot be destroyed by your Subame's dwarf beak!

Kojiro mocked, "I guess size does matter!"

"Soonansu!" So it is.

Kasumi looked very pensive. Then, as though a though had been lit in her brain, she released Kyamome. The gull Pokemon looked much better than when she had released it before. It swooped down at her, ready to attack. She grabbed it firmly by the wings and squeezed. It struggled violently.

"Look, you can attack me on your own time," she chided. "Right now, Satoshi's Pikachu is at stake! There is another Pokemon at risk here, and I will not have you losing the battle for us. Got it?"

Upon hearing Kasumi's concern for a fellow Pokemon, Kyamome stared incredulously. Finally, it snapped back to attention, ready to listen to Kasumi's orders.

She let go of it, and glided through the air freely again. Kasumi instructed, "Okay, now you try piercing the balloon with you beak Kyamome!"

Kyamome zoomed up to the balloon, acknowledged Subame, and then drove its beak into the same spot on the balloon that subame had hit. It was still no good, and Kyamome's beak got stuck. Sato-tachi became very fearful at this point. Kyamome did get free, but the balloon continued to rise.

It was Anatama who saw what needed to be done, as the spot that had been attacked by the birds was now stretched and weak. Anatama called up to Kyamome. The gull turned to face Anatama, taken aback at seeing the same Pokemon it had attacked earlier begging to be flown up to the balloon by Kyamome.

Despite any bad blood between the two Pokemon, they were willing to work together to help Pikachu. Kyamome swooped down, picking up Anatama in its talons. It tried not to hurt Anatama, and if the water strider did feel any pain, it hid it well.

The Rocket Gang continued to laugh, and Sato-tachi was bewildered by Anatama's behavior. "What is he doing?" Kasumi wondered aloud.

That became clear, and to the Rocket's misfortune. When Kyamome had brought Anatama level with the weak spot, Anatama let loose a Bubble Beam. The stinging bubbles pierced the balloon, and the craft destabilized. Pikachu was thrown from the balloon and was falling for earth. He was caught by the collective efforts of all Pokemon airborne. Anatama and Kyamome used Bubble Beam and Water Gun, respectively, to break the glass case, and Subame caught Pikachu on its back. The rodent Pokemon was returned safely to Satoshi's waiting embrace.

"Pikachu!" Satoshi beamed.

"Pika-pi!" Pikachu cooed.

The Rocket Gang had also been thrown from the balloon, and they were flying away and out of sight like the Aqua Gang had. "At least we still have our fame," Musashi cried.

"But what of our fortune?" Kojiro asked.

"Our fortune looks quite dim, and it feels..."

The entire trio bellowed, "It feels bad!!!"

"Soooooonansu!" So it is.

Victory for Sato-tachi! Kyamome landed Anatama safely on the ground, and then perched on Kasumi's shoulder, looking quite pleased.

"Hooray!" exclaimed Kasumi. "The day is saved."

Pikachu sprang up on Satoshi's own shoulder. "Thank you very graciously, Kasumi. We could not have done it without you!"

Kasumi waved her hands dismissively. "It was not my doing Satoshi. It is all thanks to my new Pokemon, Kyamome!"

"Kyamo!" shrilled Kyamome satisfactorily. Anatama moaned lightly, and when the gang looked at it, it looked quite down-trodden.

"Ah," Kasumi added. "And you too, Anatama." Anatama beamed.

"Well, we should be on our way now," Satoshi said. "Goodbye Anatama!"

Anatama grew sad. Kasumi waved at the water strider. "I shall always remember you."

Masato added, "Yes, you are a fine specimen of your species." He adjusted his glasses.

His older sister, Haruka, expressed her own gratitude. "Yes, Anatama, thank for helping Kasumi-sempai."

At this point, Anatama was halfway between depressed and livid. It skidded towards Kasumi, and crawled up her to perch on her other shoulder. Nobody moved a muscle, as they were waiting for Kasumi's screams. There was no such display of fear.

"You want to come with me, Anatama?" Kasumi inquisited.

Anatama answered with a cheerful, "Ana!"

Kasumi bent down, setting a Pokeball on the sandy ground. "Here, if you want to come with me and my friends, get inside the monster ball!"

Anatama virtually dived into the ball. It was drawn inside, and did not attempt to struggle out, either. The light in the center of the ball only flashed three times, and then a clang sound confirmed that it was a successful "capture."

Kasumi picked up the ball, shouting exuberantly, "Great! I've got two Pokemon that can do more than Koduck!"

Kasumi posed with two fingers outstretched, one hand on her hip. Kyamome just sat there on Kasumi's shoulder, brushing off the importance of such occasion with a dispassionate, "Kya."

This is how Nurse Joy found the group when she came charging out of the Pokemon Center. "Are you okay? Are the gangs gone?"

Satoshi blushed in modesty. "Yes, we took care of them, I assure you."

"Have you any need of services?" Joy-san asked politely.

Takeshi rushed to her side, grabbing her hand, and going down on one knee. "I have need of services of the heart. Can you provide them, Joy-chan?!" Nurse Joy tilted her head, puzzled at the Pokemon breeder's behavior.

Satoshi half-expected Kasumi to drag Takeshi away by the ear, but it was Masato who smacked Takeshi across the back of the head and snapped Takeshi out of his crush-induced haze.

"We haven't the time for this, Takeshi-kun!" he yelled into Takeshi's ear.

Satoshi supressed a laugh, and turned to Joy-san. "Yes, Joy-san, all our Pokemon could use a rest."

Nurse Joy turned away from Takeshi with little hesitation. "Very well," she said, and led them into the center. Masato dragged Takeshi along by the backpack, Takeshi protesting the whole way.

Kasumi has asserted herself as an important member of Sato-tachi once more. Thank you, Kasumi. Where would we be without you? How could the Rocket Gang have handled that situation all by themselves.

===

The Aquas were quite dejected at their defeat. They hardly managed to lift their heads as few new-comers fell from the sky and crashed on the deck of their cruise.

The Rocket Gang pulled themselves up, and looked around. "Hooray!" cheered Kojiro. "We are saved, and on a boat to boot!"

Nyasuu added, "My nine lives are quite safe!"

The situation turned rather grim for the Rockets when they found themselves surrounded by angry Aqua Gang members. They embraced, and Soonansu's blobby body quivered.

"This looks bad," said Musashi. From many miles, their call of lamentation was heard.

"IT FEELS BAD!!!" the trio cried.

"Sooonansu!" So it is.

HARUKA (v.o.)
Good day! This is Haruka. It is a pleasure being tutored by Kasumi-sempai I assure-- What? Satoshi-kun and Kasumi sempai are arguing? Over me? It looks like they're going to have a battle to see who has the superior battle plan. This exciting!

Next Time!
SATOSHI AND KASUMI! BATTLE OF STRATEGY AND WILL!

Ah, I am flattered! I really want to see who will win!

Now you are saying, "Either Mew2Too has the weirdest writing style in history, or I'm going nuts.

This a style that I call "television fiction." It is written as though it were nothing but a glorified episode synopsis or a third-person narrative screenplay. There are even parts where it writes exactly like a screenplay.

Still confused about screenplays? Well, they are sometimes called scripts. Yet, they are not exactly a script.

Chris: A script does dialogue like this.

Still want to know more about how your favorite shows and movies are written. This is a site that has tons of them. Be warned, there are scripts to new movies, as well. For example, if you don't want to be spoiled on the Matrix 2, then don't read that script. Of course, I don't need to tell you that.

Review

This wasn't as good as the original 'Kasumi', but it is nice to see Misty catch a few new Pokémon. A few questions: Are you planning to make this a complete alternate Advance Generation timeline? If so, what other Pokémon will Ash and his friends catch? I'm thinking of that lobster-like water-type and maybe the walrus to go to Ash and Misty respectively.

It is interesting that Team Aqua are afraid of the Rocket-dolts. I guess they are capable of doing something right. Maybe Giovanni will be willing to accept them back into the fold now. ;-)

I will say one thing: You are writing this as if it was a transliteration from Japanese to English, which is sometimes a bit distracting. I know that you want to maintain the unique 'feel' of the Japanese version of the animé, especially with its' own Team Rocket patter, but don't be afraid to use more familliar names of certain moves. Remember, most of us are only familliar with the dub. :)

BenRG's Rating: 8/10

Yes, it is indeed written like a transliteration. I did mean to do it that way. I took a while reading some transliterated scripts. (The Rocket Gang Radio play, the Birth of Mewtwo, the Mewtwo Strike Back script, etc.) Then, I proceeded to write the characters with, as you say, transliterated dialogue.

Only one thing stopped me from doing a complete "dub" version - I don't know the English names of Haruka and Masato yet! Foolish, I know, but it won't be long before I get them. After all, they are in the game - names and all. We already know the English name of the male character, Yuuki. (Apparently, it's Seth.) For some reason, though, NoA is holding back on Haruka's name.

When I finally do get the English names, I might "dub" all this. If you read these, though, it's an interesting thought. A lot of people think they just translate the Japanese and use it for the dub dialogue in English. But, this is actually more like what Pokemon is like before 4Kids get their hands on it. Now, some people might resent 4Kids for this. Others, who were more critical [of 4Kids] before, might get down and kiss the ground that Haigney and Grossfeld walk on! :-D

Until around March, I'm working on JTC. (Which is in desperate need of rewriting.) By then, I hope to have the dub names for Haruka and her lil' bro straight from Ninny's mouth. If I do a more dub-like scripting then, I think it'll go over better. I'll also have seen more of the Japanese version of AG. (Something beyond the seventh or eighth episode, in other words. Perhaps even some of the specials.) If nothing else, it gives me a better idea of the kind of characters I'm working with. I want to stay as close to the series as possible. So, no, these are not full alternate plotlines. It's more of a plot idea that I think Yuyama-san [Pokemon's director] might do good in going with for AG season 2.

So, in essence, until March, these AG stories are pretty much on hiatus. I really want to get some of the dub names and further witness AG's actual plot progression before continuing.

I really prefer the role Team Rocket takes here over the one they did in your earlier episode (see there for more commands). And Team Aqua being afraid of them. This is realy good for some laugh

An important role for Misty in this part, inculding the capture of two Pokemon. You're really making up for the time she's been away, don't you? Kyamome isn't excatly the water Pokemon I'd expeced for Misty, but I really wonder how those two will get along in further stories. Misty still having problems with him could be interesting. Now Misty's the one who's having a disobedient Pokemon.
Anatama, this one really is an idea. Misty likes water types, but hates bug, and it's faced with a water bug  Good to see how she comes over her fear for it and decides to like it. I still wonder how Misty wil react on other bug

It is rather ironic. ^_^ The whole bit sprouts from the oft-reinforced idea that, if Team Rocket did good, they would not only succeed, but do so greatly.

Well, she was gone for a whole season! :) By the time S2 rolls around, I'd expect Ash-tachi to have at least one or two new Pokies each. So, Misty needs a new Pokie or two of her own. The stories, however, gap for a few episodes. There are, apparently, episodes inbetween that did not focus specifically on Misty, but there was likely humore at the expense of Misty and her Psyduck-only situation.

Kyamome isn't excatly the water Pokemon I'd expeced for Misty, but I really wonder how those two will get along in further stories. Misty still having problems with him could be interesting. Now Misty's the one who's having a disobedient Pokemon.

Exactly! AG is a show where things are changing. (Although, I'm sorry to say that TR is still using mechs to do their dirty deeds. I don't think they'll ever stop, but I'll try to cut down on it from now on.) So, I figured Misty's Pokemon line-up should change as well. Dual types might be a new "next best thing" for Misty. She's had all the cutsie pure Water types in the past. (And she had a Normal type egg, of course.)

It's time for Misty to have some dual types. That will include Wingull/Kyamome and Surskit/Anatama. It may even stretch to include Barboach or Whiscash.

Anatama, this one really is an idea. Misty likes water types, but hates bug, and it's faced with a water bug  Good to see how she comes over her fear for it and decides to like it. I still wonder how Misty wil react on other bug

Heh heh! That was the intended effect. I wanted to see Misty face down her bug fears with her own Pokemon. Surskit/Anatama was just such an opportunity. If I do continue to write these little fanfics, they will likely have some mild tension between Misty and her two new Pokies. That should keep her character fresh and fascinating. (As we've rarely seen Misty clash with any of her Pokemon aside from Psyduck.)
