Won't go into all the nitty gritty bits, but here's the main bits that'll interest everyone.

Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
4GB 800Mhz DDR2 RAM
250GB SATA HDD
ATI Raedon HD 3870 512MB
LG FLATRON W2242T (22inch widescreen)
 
I am fine with my current laptop too but did have a computer with similar specs at one point no multicore processor though and not even 1GB of RAM like my current machine has. From the information given that computer looks like a real screamer I wish I could say the same about some of the junkers I brought back to life but it is always nice to have a spare machine in case something goes wrong with my main one.
 
Sounds like a very nice computer to me. Seems pretty buff, in any case, it owns my five-year old computer. What's the price?
 
Pretty cool, I just got my new computer back in Feburary on my birthday (literally), & I doubt I'll need a new one for a couple years... unless The Sims 3 is too much for it to handle. x3

No offence, Archaic, but I don't really find that interesting one bit...

I mean, I know you must be proud about it, but you don't have to make a FORUM about it! This belongs in the HoS.

First of all it's a thread not a forum. And second of all this section is for things like this. It's a perfectly legit topic.

Anyways, how do you get all this info? All I know about mine is that it's a Compaq. XD;

Nice PC Archaic! I used to feel like I needed a better computer all the time and kept trying to upgrade my a lot, but the days like that are gone. I am happy with my 2GB RAM, Ati x600, 3.4ghz Pentium 4 HT, 360GB HD, DVD RW, DVD ROM and 17" TFT screen computer. No fails, no crashes, no problems since I got it last year.
