Are Drew and Harley gay?

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Harley, very likely. Drew, obviously not.

Does it really matter?

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Most of the male contest related characters aren't very masculine.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Drew has barely-obscured interest in May.

Harley seems to be more stereotypically gay, but he's also all about shocking people, so it's anyone's guess.

Contest people I would more assume Zoey and Wallace to be gay, but that's based on personal interactions rather than how they present themselves (no, Zoey having short hair has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, with Wallace I base my conclusion off gameverse).

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Really feminine? Now, maybe I'm just just crazy, but you have seen multiple portrayals of Japanese men in other intellectual properties, haven't you?

It isn't so much homosexuality as it is personality.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Drew... seems more of the metrosexual type IMO....
Harley... might be gay, can't really confirm that...
in conclusion, I honestly wouldn't care lol...

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Harley... very yes
Drew... very no. He is May's unofficial BF

Pretty much this, except that I pegged Harley being gay the moment I saw him in action and heard him speak. His actions also support this as well.

Drew, never pegged him as being gay, if only because I supported ContestShipping for a while. I thought it was obvious that Drew had feelings for May.

Zoey, I thought that she was gay the moment I saw her as well. There was something about her that screamed lesbian to me, I think it was her clothing. Though one of my friends first reaction to Zoey went like this "I thought she was a dude until they showed her from the front, even then I wasn't convinced until she spoked."

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Harley: Yes (and he looks and sounds like it)
Drew: No. Just no.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Drew is gay? Preposterous! If he was, he should giving his roses to Harley!

Re: are drew and harley gay....

I don't think Drew is.. >_> or I doubt the writers would have made him give May roses.. multiple times.

Now Harley on the other hand, I've always figured he was gay. xD

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Drew..Gay? Oh dear. How is BriannaxDrew going to work out then? T.T I think Drew is bio...No offence to any fans...

Re: are drew and harley gay....

At first I thought Drew might be until Harley came along.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Drew: not really.

Harley: Very gay and effeminate and in-your-face about it. Dressing up like May was just freaky.

I think I need a brain scrubber now.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Harley- yes

Drew- no (he's obviously interested in May)

Re: are drew and harley gay....

Zoey is definitely a lesbian, for whoever wondered. There is no way she is straight.

Re: are drew and harley gay....

I heard a theory once that Haruka's entire contest arc in Houen was a loose parody of shoujo anime in general, and the characters that encompass that genre. There's always a feminine-looking guy whom it's implied that the main girl might have a thing for (that'd be Shuu, in this case), and there's usually also a male character who's incredibly flamboyant and a heavily implied homosexual, though it's never outright stated (that'd be Harley, obviously).

Are you saying that just because she doesn't wear dresses in her contests? And what does that have to do with Drew and Harley?
