NO, I don't thinks so, and I think most people here will agree besides, there evolve from Eevee, and theres other evolutions of Eevee as well not just them

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

Wouldn't it be the other way around if it was?

well it lookes that way till we got leafion and iceion. then it goes blank so i dont think so....

First of all, it's Glaceon. Secondly, you seem to have forgotten about Espeon and Umbreon.

As for "reincarnation", it's not possible because they evolve from Eevee and they existed long before the dogs.

This.

It's a possibility honestly.
We'll never actually know, but it's what I believe as it makes more sense than other pokemon to me.

Also, Eevees, as well as their eeveelutions, are based off of Fennec Foxes, so it appears. Not dogs.

Uh, a big NO on that one. And who says the Legendary Beasts are dogs anyway?

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

Excellent point. I actually think they're supposed to be Big Cats.

I think ^^'

I always thought of them as cats, but everyone points to Suicune and says "dog". Which is why "Beast" is used.

As for the topic, I seriously doubt that Eevee (to include its evos) has any connection to the Beasts.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

No, considering they came first.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

They were discovered first. Whether or not they existed first is another story.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

I would think it could have been the other way around if that was the case....
Since the beasts are said to be three Pokèmon that died in a fire, whose to say those three Pokèmon weren't a Flareon, Jolteon and a Vaporeon? And then Ho-oh resurrected them as Raikou, Entei and Suicune.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

No, considering they came first.

Mewtwo is the 150th Pokemon and Mew is the 151st Pokemon.

Anyways I seriously doubt that they are reincarnations or anything of that sort.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

nee, nein, no, non.

Other people already gave my arguments.

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

I don't think so...

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

while Eevee has other evolutions, J/F/V are still somewhat grouped in a sense seeing as they're the only ones who evolve with stones.

$aturn is right, it's possible in the universe, just not by design. or something like that OTL

Re: Are Jolten, Flareon, and Vapereon reincarnations of the legendary dogs

Wasn't the fan theory that the Pokemon that died in the Brass Tower were Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon and Ho-Oh reincarnated them into the legendary beasts, not the other way around?

I havn't heard of any of the theories mentioned in this thread, though the above one seems the most plausible.
