Are you satisfied with the amount of screentime your in-show ships got in the show?

Obviously this doesn't include characters who never met in the anime, but for those of you who follow ships where the characters interacted or had shippy moments or so forth, were you satisfied with the screentime the writers gave it?

This also includes one-shot ships, like Ash/Anabel, Brock/Lucy and so forth. So think of the big picture, not just the main character ships in the show.

Were you satisfied with the amount of screentime your favorite ships or characters got together?
 
With my two main ships, Pokeshipping and Rocketshipping, I'm pretty fine with one and dissapointed with the other. Pokeshipping, I'd say was fairly satisfying for me. Of course I'd like for it to continue on in the show in the future sometime, but if it didn't then I wouldn't be too dissapointed. Rocket on the other hand, was rather dissapointing. "Holy Matrimony" was awesome, but that was pretty much the biggest hint in the whole show, and there was barely anything else after it.

Contestshipping was fairly satisfying, although I do wish they could have shown something a little more decisive. They both obviously liked eachother, and there weren't any major obsticles for their relationship, so it would have been nice if they had actually confessed to eachother, on screen. But maybe that will be saved for later, if the two of them make another apperance ^^.
 
I'd have to be incredibly greedy not to be happy with Contestshipping's screentime. Perhaps a tiny little moment in an epilogue or something confirming that they ended up together would be nice, but otherwise, I'm fine with what we've been given. As for Rocketshipping, I agree with, ummm, Rocketshipper. :p Cool ship, shame it got discontinued so early.
 
Agreed with Rocketshipper when it comes to Contestshipping. It would have been nice to see something more conclusive to May and Drew's relationship before they left the series. Then again, this is Pokémon and romance is not the main focus of the series.

But who knows? Maybe we'll get the chance to see them again.

As for Pokéshipping, I think the amount of screentime it got in Kanto and Orange was great. A bad thing it faded so much in Johto. But Gotta Catch Ya Later made up for that I guess. ^^; Still, same as contestshipping, I'd loved to see something more decisive for them.

Rocketshipping.... a shame it didn't get any hints again, like it's been said. But I don't care as much about it as I did before. ^^;
 
I'm pretty happy with what PokéShipping has had since late Johto. It would be foolish to expect too much with her off the show, but with Love, Pokémon Style and Gotta Catch Ya Later followed by Cerulean Blue and A Date with Delcatty there's been plenty to rest happy until such a time as the writers decide to actually give Ash a bit of romance.

Tracey and Daisy have only been together in two episodes but they contain plenty of HandymanShipping so I can't complain there.

I'm also happy with AlfShipping. The writers would never go to far with that one but some of what is there is surprising. (When I look at some scenes in terms of Japanese culture, that Ash and Max get to hug constantly stands out as some kind of exception.) But that the Ash/Max dynamic has produced some great episodes is enough for me.
 
Contestshipping:
It's impossible to be unsatisfied with it, especially for someone who doesn't expect much in the way of hints. o.o It was lovely and well-written, methinks, even if the ending leaves a lot to the imagination, the show's not completely over yet, so I wasn't expecting anything too finalistic. Just perfect. Especially in BF.

Rocketshipping...
Up until Jouto, yes, Houen and DP... not at all. ^^;; BF is good! And DP is better. Hoso, even if it was only for one special, BIG GIGANTIC YEEEEEESSSS. Hugely satisfied with that special for all its flaws.

(I think that special's got better hints than Holy Matrimony... at least, it's got much cuter lines. -cough-)
 
Heh, I always did kind of like Misty/Max, the idea of Max crushing on Misty was always something I wanted to see, so I was glad those two got an entire episode together in "A Cleffa hanger."

Of course now with both of them off the show, I don't think Max and Misty will ever see each other again, but I was surprised the writers actually drawed parallels between those two. Shame Max didn't get a real crush on Misty though, that would have been cute.
 
Sundaeshipping!!! I honestly love the idea of Harley and Max together.. It's such a cute relationship.. The violence! xD
 
I'm sorta dissapointed at May's leaving; I expected something a bit different.
Oh, and I'm a hardcore Advanceshipper.

Hmmm thats kinda creepy he's how much older then him?

I want to see more Ash/Anabel they hit it off so well but it ended so fast they will never meet again?

it was nice while it lasted throw I'm starting to think romance is never going to happen on pokemon the writer only keep hinting but never seem to give any real romance to the story out side of random people and pokemon.What are they afraid of?
 
its probably going to be awhile before ashy~boy gets himself into a romantic situation, but i think its going to happen! one way or another..
he is afterall, a hero who deserves love

Probably the hordes of enraged fanbase that'd lose a meaningless tantrum if the Canon pairing didn't end as they wanted it to end. Think Digimon 02 (The ending killed *all* Ships bar two.) or Harry Potter (Duds get angered at certain Ships and chaos is ignited.). People go apeshit in Pokémon already, and *without* a clear Canon Ship. I can only shiver at the thought of a Ship becoming Canon and the endless whines it'd bring to the fandom and even to the company. D=

Oh well. As for the Topic... there's no PinkFlowerShipping. SmeargleShipping is only in the Manga. =/ About the only Anime Ship I liked was MinamoShipping. Girl glomped girl. 'Nuff said. Though it should've been more built upon, it was nice for two eppies or so.

I now have my sight set in AppealShipping. Here's hoping it happens in spite of dumb taboos. :-( Not like it'll *actually* happen, but there can always be hints and fluff and "It's likely Canon" stuff like with ContestShipping.
 
What about the many romantic animes and mangas out there I say they should just go for it I mean it just a cartoon for god sakes they need to think out side the box cause thing are getting stale
 
Seeing as how the writers showed that Drew will end up with May, I'm happy about their portrayal of Contestshipping.

Now, if the writer could do the same for Lagomorphshipping, I'll be dandy.

Contestshipping was really good, I love contestshipping!!!! ^^ I just hope to see more in the future, since May kinda *coughstalked* fallowed Drew to Johto lol

It's not creepy at all, actually, since we all know Max would torment Harley just as much as Harley would Max. That said, SundaeShipping definitely needed more scenes, but the small ones shown we're enough to make me smile.
 
Palletshipping- We need more Gary. ;-; But from the episodes he's been in, I'm satisfied.

Leagueshipping- We need more Richie too. ;-; ....I'm satisfied, like with Pallet.

Contestshipping- Absolutly satisfied. ^^

Apprenticeshipping- I'm happy with it.

Handymanshipping- Only two episodes, yet I love it.

Pokeshipping- Works for me.

Alfshipping- It'll never happen, but it's so cute (and there are hints), just like FabuVinny said.

Lagomorphshipping- It's one sided at the moment, but we need more~
