Arezu & Lilligant make their Pokémon Masters EX debut in new EX Fair Scout, alongside launch of the Perrin and the Diamond Clan Story Event

As previewed in last weekend's update from the game's developers, and the trailer released earlier this week, Arezu makes her Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a sync pair with Hisuian Lilligant in the new EX Fair Scout. The pair also star in a brand new Story Event launching today, Perrin and the Diamond Clan.

Story Event: Perrin and the Diamond Clan Story Event
The new Perrin and the Diamond Clan Story Event sees Perrin making a special request of Pasio Academy's Paranormal Club, as more trainers from Hisui make a sudden appearance on the artifical island. The event will run through to October 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

This event follows the simplified format for Story Events, where players will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Players will need to collect a total of 10,000 Event Points for this event in order to receive all possible rewards. Featured event rewards include 5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Field Move Candy Coin, 5★ Power-Ups, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feathers 98 and 99, and custom Sync Orbs and Lucky Cookies for Arezu & Lilligant, Mai & Munchlax, and Perrin & Growlithe.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Arezu & Lilligant: +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
• Florian & Miraidon, Juliana & Koraidon, Adaman & Leafeon, and Rei & Decidueye: +40% (×1.4) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Sinnoh or Paldea Theme Skills: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Arezu & Lilligant, Florian & Miraidon, and Juliana & Koraidon would grant a combined +140% (×2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.

Gem Special
In conjunction with the Perrin and the Diamond Clan Story Event, the following four Gem Specials will be available in the purchase gems tab of the in-game shop until October 19th, at 10:59pm (PDT), offering discounted prices on paid gems.

• September event gem special 1: Gems ×300
• September event gem special 2: Gems ×1,800
• September event gem special 3: Gems ×3,900
• September event gem special 4: Gems ×7,000

Arezu EX Fair
Arezu debuts her Sync Pair with Lilligant in this limited-time EX Fair Scout available in-game now, and running through to October 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

EX Fair Scouts are effectively the Poké Fair equivalent of the recent EX Master Fair Scouts, with an offering rate of 2% for the featured EX Master Sync Pair, 1% for additional featured 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs (0.5% each), and 10% for other 5★ Sync Pairs, which may include other Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs. Like with normal Poké Fair Scouts, EX Fair Scouts require 400 scout points before players are able to get a free selection of any one Sync Pair available in the Scout.

The two Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs who will join Arezu & Lilligant in this scout are Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu, and Greta & Breloom.

The Arezu EX Fair includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout. The first twelve times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:

• 1st-4th Scout: Sprint Move Candy Coin ×1
• 5th Scout: Superawakening Candy ×1
• 6th-9th Scout: Sprint Move Candy Coin ×2
• 10th Scout: Superawakening Candy ×1
• 11th-12th Scout: Sprint Move Candy Coin ×2

In addition, players who team up with Arezu & Lilligant in this scout will also receive Strike Roll Cake ×4 and 5★ Power-Up ×4 each time they scout the pair, up to 5 times.

Arezu & Lilligant are a 5★ Grass-type Sprint Role Sync Pair with an unlockable Strike (Special) EX Role and Superawakening. Raising them to 6★ EX Status changes their outfit from shades of blue with brown and red accessories and accents to shades of green with white and pink accessories and accents, matching Lilligant.

As you might expect from a Sprint pair, Arezu & Lilligant are focused around delivering quick, painful beatdowns to opponents. Their Splendid Victory Dance Status Move can only be used before the team has a Sync Buff, but will increase Arezu & Lilligant's Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Speed by a full six stat ranks, all of which will stay there for the rest of the battle thanks to their All Stats ↓ Immunity | P-Moves & S-Moves Crit Passive Skill, which also ensures all their attacks will always be critical hits. Once boosted, their Dance of Yellow Tones and Dance of Green Tones Passive Skill allow them to rapidly debuff opponents against either Physical or Special attacks, depending on which attacks Arezu & Liligant use against them.

Arezu Gem Emote
A special Gems with Gym Emotes offer is available from the in-game shop alongside the Arezu EX Scout, allowing players to obtain a Arezu Gym Emote as a present. This offer, which comes with 250 paid gems, can be purchased under the With Emotes tab in the Purchase Gems menu of the in-game shop until October 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
