I'm about to pull my hair out.

Isn't Hidden Power SUPPOSED to greatly vary from monster to monster?? So, will someone tell me why 3 of the same pokémon have the same type of hidden power, even though they are different IVs????

WTF! Is this thing BROKEN? Now, I don't even care if my HP is the wrong type anymore, I just want the type to be DIFFERENT between these 3 Jolteon! Why isn't it different! TELL ME!

...I don't understand how to use it.

Edit: Quickie: Does Hidden Power's type change when you evolve? if not I won't have to hassle with this "save, then evolve" thing I am doing

It's all dependent in your Pokémon's IVs. You input the IVs your Pokémon's into the calculator, which then determines the type and power of the Hidden Power.

But... that's the same as the one Serebii has...

does this mean THREE Jolteon all have HP Steel, and there's nothing I can do to change it? Breeding those took weeks!

Well, there are less than 20 pokémon types, and 7958661109946400884391936 different IV combinations, so chances are you'll get several pokémon with the same hidden power type no matter how the type formula works.

Well, the only problem I could think of is that you need to get IVs, and then hit the "Hidden Power" button after every IV entry. It doesn't change Hidden Power type automatically.

Huh? What are you talking about?

This is so confusing T.T

I don't have any other choice, Jolteon gets no other interesting Special Attacks other than Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball.

Actually use hidden power on a Kecleon.
(Route 210-North ONLY in Diamond)
Kecleon will color change to Hidden Power's type.
I find this more useful than using an IV Calculator, to find out Hidden Power.

O_O You're a genius! Thanks!

*didn't know Kecleon were wild in the first place.*

Yeah, and instead of looking for one every time, just catch one, and go into double battles and attack it.

Heh, I knew I could use Double Battles if I can just find one :D

*did this with her chain Smeargleing.*
