I decided to explore Iron Island(or was it cave?) Anyways, it's that place where you get the Riolu egg. I battled through the trainers without any problem, then made my way downstairs and partnered up with that Aaron guy. (Sorry, I'm really bad with names)

We do the double battles without any problems and then I thought it would be a great opportunity to do some training here. I encounter a lot of Gravelers, Onix, and Golbats..but then this next wild battle was diffferent...

It was a Graveler and an Onix but the Onix was different... IT WAS SHINY!

My brain didn't process this until after that star appeared around it. I knew Lucario would pose a danger with its Bone Rush so I quickly ordered my Staraptor to do a Take Down on it, KOing Lucario. (My current team is currently about 10 levels above Lucario)

Without Lucario out of the way, the Shiny Onix is all mines for taking..NOT.

Without warning, that idiot Graveler summons a Magnitude 8 attack, killing Onix. The Shiny Onix. The first Shiny I've seen in the game.

At this point, I'm screaming at the screen, throwing all the curse words I know in the world at the screen...

You stupid Graveler..
 
D=. That's why I hate double battles. If I didn't love all the tag up partners, I'dve never talked to them >_>
 
I accidentally killed the first shiny I saw, too. (Though your shiny Onix is much cooler than the shiny Buizel I saw...)

I share your pain.

Now that blows. Chunks. I think if I had been in your situation, I would have broken my DS, because I would have thrown the thing at the nearest wall.

I feel for ya. =/

I wish I had a shiny buizel, It sucks for both of you though. That is beyond frustrating.
 
Man. That really sucks. Of course, your Staraptor took no damage, so why did the Graveller even do it? It's a retard, I bet.

I got pissed at the hail, because a totally awesome Shiny Medicham appeared before me, my second shiny in the game, on the route to Snowpoint. I false swipe 'im away with my Kricketune (Luckily, he has crazy high attack, and I was raising Kricketune at the time, so I decided to teach him FS for Pokemon bagging.)

And then the hail struck. It PWNT my SHINY! -.-

But yours must have been more aggrivating. I had hard times figuring out who to KO first in double battles there: Gravellers or Lucario. I hadn't caught anyone in the Onix line, so whenever I KO one of those two, the other turns and rapes the guy I'm trying to catch.
 
I liked pairing up with Riley, but the girl Marley in Victory Road was next to useless. Batafuria, my level 60 butterfree, was pretty much left out on it's own. Halping hand works sometimes, but can't that girl ever attack? I mean, seriously...she only used helping hand and she used agility once...

As for shinies, the only shiny I have on Diamond is a shiney Rapidash that I got from transfering it from my Leafgreen game. Your lucky to have seen two shinies. I have yet to see one. In fact, not counting the Gyrados, I've only seen two and caught two (Krabby in Crystal and Rapidash in Leafgreen)

I feel your pain, though I would've thrown my game at the wall.
 
I'm reminded of the woeful time I found a shiny Taillow early in...Sapphire, I think it was. I had it perfectly weakened only to find I had no Pokeballs with which to apture the aforementioned Taillow. I can definitely sympathize with anyone whose poor luck has hornswoggled them out of a shiny Pokemon.
 
lol my first shiny was a shiny magikarp i found while i was surfing towards...the red gyarados... Dx. and i killed it >_>

my other was a self-destructing geodude i found in victory road. >_>

woot and my other shiney was a shiney slowbro i LOVED. for the 2 hours i had it. my little brother then "accidently" deleted my leaf green file when he got his hands on it.
