If I can't find an article, how am I to find it? Especially if it may not even exist, so I'm practically looking for nothing?

What are you looking for? If you're looking for it with Google-esque keywords, that likely won't help. By title, that'll help. If it's not there, then make it.

I'm looking for a page that might detail the graphical changes between generations, specifically the menu Pokemon sprites for your party and how those developed over time to be more realistic and individually applicable.

And as long as I'm here, I'm trying to change the name of several articles. I can't figure out how to do it (it's for a different wiki, but I hope it's the same). Any help?

The second part is easy. Click on "move" at the top of the page, next to edit, history, and the like. Then just type in the new title, and as long as it's not taken, the page will get moved. The old title will become a redirect as well.

Not sure about the first one, I'm afraid.

I don't think anyone has made the sprite page you are looking for.

There might be individual information listed on the Generation III or RS pages, considering this was the gen and games that had the most development. The DP pages may also have information.

If you have enough knowledge about the subject, or can find it on our pages or otherwise, an article Graphical changes between generations may be of value.

Well, thanks to Martonimos for help with renaming the articles. It really was simple, but it made my articles seem more official. :D

Unfortunately I don't know a lot about that particular subject, but as time passes I may take it upon myself to change that just so I can make the article. We'll see.

New question: I've added an image to a page on the left side, but it seems to cover up the bullet-points I've added to the main text. The bullet-points return if I make the image a caption (preferably without the caption itself, just the border), but the image works much better on the page without a border. Any ideas?

Also, how do I go about creating categories (for example: Category: Pokemon ROM hackers), as well as the template needed to place it on the appropriate articles?

Categories are added just by having [[Category:(whatever)]] on the page at any point. We tend to group ours in the bottom, but templates can also add them in includeonly brackets. To make them... just hit edit and categorize them. Or don't, if it's not on BP and you don't wanna. But on BP, CATEGORIZE IT OR YOU DIE.

Well I figured out making Categories, but my first question remains unanswered and I now have another one: how do I make new templates?

I'm sorry to be asking all this, but I really don't know where else to go to ask and be answered.

Well, better here than spamming the talk pages, I guess. Templates, you write as if they were normal pages. Then when you want to use them, you type in {{template name}} on the page where you want them invoked. Be sure to make the template itself in the Template namespace, that is, "Template:Template name."

And templates cna have parameters to them. For example, say I wanna make light text on a dark color, and have them be matching types. On the template page for textlight I type:

< span style="background:#{{{{{1}}} color}}; color:#{{{{{1}}} color light}};">{{{2}}}< /span>.

That way if you put in {{textlight|grass|Grass}}, it'll come out with grass color background and grass color light text, and the text will be "Grass".

But that's just an example with those kinds of parameters... you can make literally anything a parameter, and with special extensions, do some really awesome stuff.
