I was wondering if artificial life forms exist in the Pokemon universe. Possible examples could include the Porygon evolution line, Deoxys and Mewtwo. Porygon was manmade, but it can't be a robot because it has Pokemon abilties. Deoxys is not natural either. And Mewtwo was created in a science lab, and although Mewtwo is organic he was greatly enhanced through technological means, both physically and mentaly. Wouldn't that make them artificial life forms? Any opinions?

Yes, technology in the Pokémon world isn't nearly as uniform as that of our own. The cars are late 20th to 21st century, but the technology regarding other aspects (genetics, biology, and "gadgets") surpass our own by at least a decade.

Then again, isn't Porygon a robot, and isn't Deoxys an alien? Mewtwo's the only lifeform humans have made.

Porygon's line's dex entries pretty much establish he's a computer program made by humans.

Regirock/Steel/ce are all golems so I've always thought they were built by humans. Dunno about Regigigas.

I think the Beldum line is also artificial. I've always imagined it as a robot.

Mewtwo is the only confirmed artificial lifeform in Pokémon. Porygon can be argued to not be alive, and we don't know who made Deoxys, because it's from space.
