ASH AND MISTY CONFESS

"Race you to Cerulean City!" Ash shouted to his companions, Brock, Misty, and Pikachu.
"Your on!" Brock answered.
"Pikapi!" Pikachu exclaimed. As they ran ahead, Misty and Togepi kept walking slowly. 'I wonder how our battle will go. I mean, how can I fight the person I love?' Misty
thought. 'I just wish there was a way I could do this so he is happy. I mean, I can't just give it to him, and I won't let him win.' "Oh, Togepi, what am I going to do?" Misty
asked the cute little eggshell pokemon.
"Togi Togi Priiiiii!!" It answered.
"Hey, hurry up slowpoke!" Ash shouted to Misty. 'Stubborn Ash. He won't let me alone so I can sort out a few thoughts.'
"Are you coming or not!" Ash shouted. When Misty didn't answer, he waited for her to come closer. "what's wrong?" He asked her. "Not afraid to battle me, I hope!"
"NO! I'm just a little...worried. Yeah, that's it. Worried. About...my sisters! Yah. I've been worried about them." She answered 'You bitch. Worried about my sisters? Jeez.
He must be real dense to take that one seriously! Nice going, Misty.'
"...Uh-huh, sure. Well, meet you at the gates." Ash said as he raced to catch up to Brock and Pikachu. 'Yah, he's dense if he believed that!' *That's right, Misty, you say
it! Although, Ash wouldn't be happy if he heard that +_+*

'Idiot. Dense idiot. How did I believe that? I must really be that dense. (sigh) I wish I could tell Misty my true feelings, but I'm afraid she'll hate me. I wonder why she hasn't
said anything about her bike yet? It's been three years. You think she'd say something. Ah well. There's Cerulean city.' Ash thought to himself as they came up to the
gates of Cerulean City. When Misty finally caught up to them, they had already found a nice little cliff overlooking a beautiful plain to spend the night at. It was a nice night,
so they spent it outside, under the stars. But, unluckily for Ash and Misty, a girl who had spent the day there was just leaving. *Why she chose then to leave, don't ask
me.*
"Hi! My names Brock, and...er...these are for you." Brock said as he pulled out a bunch of roses.*Anime strikes again.*
"Er...have we met?" She asked him.
"Only in my dreams!" Brock answered.
"That's enough." Misty said as she dragged Brock away. "Sorry about that. (Ahem) continue." The girl continued to give Brock odd stares as she left.
"Phew. Glad that's over." Misty said.
"Yah. Now, let's have some dinner!" Ash said.
"Typical Ash. Always thinking with your stomach." Misty said with a mock tsk, tsk.
"Well you sleep with a Tentacruel plushie!"
"Short!"
"Hairy!"
"Rude!"
"Scrawny!"
"Take that back!"
"Never!" Ash agrued as a battle of the sexes began.
"Ah, young love." Brock said.
"We-BROCK!" Ash and Misty said together.
"Er...dinners ready." Brock said. The instant he said it, Ash and Misty attacked their food like they hadn't eaten in weeks.
"(Chomp, munch, smack) Great dinner, Brock. (Munch smack)" Ash said through mouthfuls. While he was *messily* eating, a drop of soup*That's what they were eating.
Duh.* flew out of Ashes bowl, and landed with a plop on Mistys nose. Ash gulped, expecting a large lump on his forehead at any second, but all that came from Misty was
laughter. Smiling, Ash joined in.

Later that night, several hours after they turned in, Misty looked at her watch. '1:04. (sigh) I'll never get to sleep.' Misty thought. She got up, being careful not to wake the
sleeping Togepi, and went to sit along with her thoughts on the cliffside. 'Every day I think about Ash. I want him to be mine, but I don't want to tell him. (Sigh) I wish he
could share my feelings. Life would be easier. I don't want him to lose our match, but I don't want to let him win. Oh, how will I do this.' She asked herself. She let he gave
drift down to the plain below. She saw a herd of Doduo sleeping. When she looked to her right she saw some Poliwags and Poliwhirls sleeping in a small pond, only their
large eyes showing. To her left were some Diglett sleeping(Is that possible? Nah.) When she looked up, she saw a beatiful full moon shining proudly in the night sky.
Everything was so peaceful.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice asked, startling Misty.
"Ash! Don't do that, I almost had a heart attack."
"Well sorry," He said "Your highness." He said just so Misty could barley hear him. She playfully punched his shoulder, and he acted like he lost his balance and nearly
fell.(No, he was pretending. Sorry Ash-haters!)
"Mist?" Ash asked
"Mist? Where did that come from?" Misty asked.
"Um...eh...it's kinda a..um...sorta..." He stuttered.
"A pet name? Now I have a pet name?"
"Uh...something like that. Anyway, why did you make that thing up earlier today? You know, the 'I was worried about my sisters' thing"
"Ash, promise you won't laugh?"
"Why would I?"
"Ash..." Misty said in a theatning voice.
"Alright, alright, I won't."
"Alright. Ash, the real reason I said that was because-because of our battle tomorrow. I don't want to deprive you of your badge, but I don't want to just give it to you."
"That's it? Why would I laugh about that?" Ash asked, raising an eyebrow in amusment, know full well this conversation was going somewhere.
"Ash, the reason I don't want to battle you is because-because I love you."
Ash's eyes widened in amazment. Misty took it the wrong way.
"I'm sorry Ash. I can understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore."
"No, its not that, it's just that...I love you too, Mist." Shocked, Misty grabbed ash around the waist and hugged him tightly. When they pulled away, they put their faces so
close together that their noses almost touched. Then, they locked into a passionate kiss.

The day afterward, Brock was puzzling over why Ash and Misty were suddenly so happy around each other, holding hands all the way to the gym. He still had yet to learn
of the night before. A bit later, after they arrived at the Cerulean City Gym, they were greated by Daisy, Violet, and Lilly, who were just as surprised as Brock about Ash
and Misty's sudden...happieness. Everyone greeted one another, and the Battle went underway. Brock being good the Pokemon Battle ref things, he led the match.
"This will be a two on two elimination battle. Show your Pokemon!"
"Starmie, I choose you!" Msty said.
"Go, Charizard!"
"Starmie, use Tackle!"
"Charizard, Leer!" Misty's attack got through, but Charizard's Leer stopped it in it's tracks.
"Good! Now use Fire spin!" Ash commanded.
"Starmie, Harden!" Starmie hardened, but not soon enough. It fainted.
"Good job. Return. Now, Poliwhirl, use Water Gun!" The attack did it's damage, and Charizard fainted.
"Return!"
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said as it jumped into the battlefield. Ash was about to tell it what to do, when Ash and Misty's eyes met.
"Hold on Pikachu. I want to use a different Pokemon." Pikachu looked at Ash with a hurt look in it's eyes. "Don't worry buddy, I know what I'm doing. Besides, I don't want
my best friend hurt."
"Cha!" Pikachu said in understanding.
"Thanks buddy. Alright, Pidgeotto, I choose you!" Ash said, flinging the Pokeball in the air.
"Poliwhirl, Hydro Pump!"
"Pidgeotto, Mirror Move!" The attack took its toll, but Pidgeotto was not hurt very badly. He did Mirror Move, causing it tobe able to do Hydro Pump. And thats what it did.
One hit from it's own element, and Poliwhirl was down for the count.
"Poliwhirl is unable to battle. Ash is the winner!" Brock said.
"ALRIGHT!" Ash said with joy as Misty handed him th badge, "I got a badge!"
"Pi Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Good job, Ash!" Misty said to Ash.
"Yah, it wa-" He was cut of as Misty hit him with a kiss right on the lips, and Ash returned the kiss.
