So apparently the Summary says its the Sinnoh League Finals? Maybe the Semi Finals because Ash is to battle the LT in the Finals. A Three Parter for the Ash and Paul match is definetly epic though :)
 
With those same 6 Pokemon?

This must be a long-ass battle.

How is DP going to end now? They have only 2-3 eps left before BW comes out.

Atleast this battle won't be rushed I guess each pokemon will have an incredibly Drawn out battle. Man This is going to be Epic I dont think we ever got a 3 Parter battle in any league.
 
Wow. :)

Glad to see an important battle (the most important battle in the league...Legendary Trainer be damned) getting so much focus. This makes me hopeful we get a lot of character development in Part 1 & 3 while the central episode contains the majority of the battle.

I have a feeling the Legendary Trainer battle will begin at the end of this episode, as usual.

I say, they won't lunch new series along side with games, little bit late.

Anyways, cool three parter battle, unexpected, DP never failed with that.

I wonder if Ash will get pwned hard by evil dude, because of that.

Exactly what I was thinking... Still 3 episodes? gonna be some serious cliffhanger action then. Can only hope there is enough time for Ash to get beaten by the LT, and for them to end D/P.
 
A third part...? I don't know why, but for some reason it looks fake. I feel that 3 episodes in a row having the EXACT 3 WORDS and no Part 1-3 looks suspicious.

Anyhow, it does look awesome.
 
The Episode is to air on the 19th of August so there might be a Break after this Episode and the Legendary Trainer Episode will be on September 2nd I think? Unless there isnt any break between the two Episodes.

The last time they had a break in August was on August 2, 2007. So a 99.9% of no breaks on August 26.

That or we might actually get a 3 on 3 battle before the Paul match in the first episode. I mean, we thought this match would only be 2 episodes for the most part. Now that it's three episodes...maybe there is time to have a battle before the Paul match.

And I could see a 3 on 3 battle be almost like the build up battle before the big match. Like Ash is pressured to win the top 8 match since Paul won his round and at the end, Ash is relieved to have won, then he sees that he faces Paul next and then we start with Ash vs. Paul, probably like the first half.

2nd episode can be Drapion being a big problem for Ash and 3rd episode could showcase the final 2 matches or something like that.

We'll see though. It sounds interesting to hear that this is 3 parts. Sounds awesome!
 
If I learned anything from Naruto, an extended battle could mean any of the following:
-Backstory (I actually REALLY want this)
-needless dialogue/commentary
-un-important side quest
-more action
 
If there was a break then DP would have areally crappy ending and I don't think any of us want that. If this is legit then I hope a majority of the episode has to do with the battle. But Ryuu's probably right in thinking that there will be alot of TR filler.

Okay, the first episode better be showing a possible Top 8 featuring Ash using his Hoenn pokemon.
