Ash's Age: Positive or Negative?

So many people say: "Ash is still 10!?" or "I am still in love with a ten year old?".

But you have to know, when Ash gets into puberty, would his character change?

I think, he would be intrested in girlfriends, love and even sexual content, rather then Pokémon. (Unless, they create it like the Electric tale of Pikachu manga)

That's why I think he shouldn't age, it's healthy for young and adult viewers.

What is your opinion?

Yes, sex is all that's important to teenagers. Ok, it may sort of be true, but come on, it isn't entirely true. True, it would make him more mature, but we aren't going to suddenly be a harem show.

He is the only 10 year old in the show who don't know or care about love and romance. So, not really...

Goku went on to be like 40 by the end of Dragonball, and the main motive of the show, fighting, was what occupied his mind most of the time. Luffy has also aged and his interests seem to be the same. Why would Ash be any different? Why can't people understand there is more to life than sex and/or romance? Geesh.

He can age, but the writers just love to be in the same endless cycles of pointlessness that will bite them in the back one day. =]
