Ashs Charizard vs Ashs Palpitoad

Well Most Likely, Charizard would Win because he is MUCH Stronger than the Frog and has a Type Dis-Advantage. But, I would want Palpitoad to Win because He has a Good Move set and is Powerful and He should win I think.
 
I vote for the toad. It may be that I like Palpitoad more than Charizard but Palpitoad has a huge advantage and Supersonic + Hydro Pump would do a great amount of damage to Charizard.
 
Charizard has beaten an advantaged Blastoise.
Palpitoad tied with a very disadvantaged Zebstrika.

My vote goes to Charizard.

The very disadvantaged Zebstrika knew Facade and Giga Impact. Facade when you are poisoned does big damage and Giga Impact without needing to recharge afterwards is more than very powerful. And Zebstrika was faster than Palpitoad too. Zebstrika was not very disadvantaged.

Well, I was judging by types, but you're right.

Even so, Palpitoad only has 3 moves that work against Charizard, and one of them is status. The only super-effective move Palptiad has is Hydro Pump, but Charizard can supposedly take several of them and still be standing. Charizard also has many more impressive wins than Palpitoad does, so my vote still stays the same.
 
I've never really seen Palpitoad have any sort of battling success bar it's debut.

Maybe if it evolved into Seismatoad we may have a fight on our hands, but as a 2nd stage evolution it wouldn't stand much chance to a 3rd stage like Charizard.
Not to mention Charizard has been training for ages in the Characific valley, whereas Palpitoad is still relatively new to training.
 
I think Charizard is Stronger and HAS SOOOO MANY Wins, but I want to give Toad some Credit because he is Good and does have the BEST Facial Expressions because they are a Riot to Me.
 
Palpitoad uses Sludge Wave and Charizard takes damage from poisoning. Charizard damages Palpitoad but is hit by Supersonnic in the process and it hurts itself. Hydro Pump gives it even more damage and poisoning takes some more HP. Charizards strategy is using attack moves while Palpitoad has both Sludge wave and Supersonic to inflict status problems on him. And if I remember correctly so does Charizard know the moves Slash, Flamethrower, Dragon Tail and Wing Attack. So Charizards only special move deals little damage to Palpitoad. charizard is not so powerful that it can handle that.
 
I say Charizard. He's defeated a lot of opponents; many with type-advantages, and even legendaries. Not to mention that he's had much more training. Palpitoad on the other hand has lost to 2 Pokémon where he had the advantage and we haven't seen him in any sort of training.
 
Again The Toad should get the WIN because he is a good Pokemon and should be shown a little more and is a good Battler I think.
 
I'd say Charizard. Charizard has been through many battles and has tons of experience. I mean, Charizard was gaining an advantage during his bout with Iris' Dragonite, a fully evolved dragon-type Pokémon. I don't think Palpitoad can even stand a chance against Dragonite.
 
Again, The Toad is good he makes Good Expressions when he is hit with an Attack and is Funny I think.
 
I think that Charizard would easily win. Palpitoad has the type advantage and it could do some decent damage with the Supersonic and Hydro Pump combination, but Charizard has it beat in terms of experience, which stands out more than a type advantage or disadvantage. Charizard would win.
 
Ash's Charizard: his Palpitoad is just not nearly as experienced. Although it suffers from weakness to Ash's Palpitoad in terms of water vs. fire, Charizard is also Flying type and can thus avoid Palpitoad's ground attacks.

So, I say Charizard.
 
Charizard would win with both wings tied behind his back blindfolded while wearing a gag.

Here's how I see the battle going

Palpitoad uses any move (doesn't matter which)

Charizard Dodge's easily and counters with a Wing attack or Dragon tail or even a Slash attack and the battle ends with a 1 hit KO. Palpitoad loses

Battle lasts less than 5 seconds

The idea of Palpitoad being able to beat Charizard is plain rediculous. Also, if Palpitoad managed to poison Charizard, that'd would mostly just piss Charizard off
 
Charizard, there's no competition there. He's more experienced, having fought legendaries and other powerful opponents. While Palpitoad has a type advantage over Fire types, he's not as well trained or focused on, having lost against two Pokemon he had an advantage against, plus he wouldn't win against Dragonite, let alone Charizard.
