there is a lot of speculation going around like prof. oak is his father or giovanni is

so i was just wondering if the anime will ever let us know, whether in best wishes or in the future and if so what do you think he will be like and under what circumstances will they meet(e.g ishuu league final).

There's absolutely no reason at all to do anything with Ash's father, it's not important and won't affect the plot in any way... a lot of characters in both Pokémon and other anime don't have one parent and it often isn't explained and not supposed to ever be explained...

i know it's not important i'm just saying the anime may end up showing an episode with some epic showdown between ash and his father

hiding ash's father doesn't affect the plot in any way but neither will showing him

Brandon is Ash's father... he's also Paul's father... so Ash is actually in love with his own brother

OMAWTF? 0.0

I've always thought Ash's father was just a random Trainer. (& that Paul's was Cyrus. I mean, they're a lot alike...)

Ash's dad was only mentioned once. his mom said in EP002 "It took your father twice that time to make it to viridian city!"

I'm kind of confused about Prof.Oak being his dad, because doesn't that mean he would be related to Gary Oak? And then we would have to find out who Gary's mom/dad is and make them Ash's sister/brother. Oh gosh, I hope that made any sense ._.
I really hope they show him in the upcoming season though, I'm sure most of us want to see who he is and what he's like.
