Ash's new pokes

Which pokemon do you expect Ash to catch in Isshu?
 
A starter, the regional bird pokemon, and a fire type pokemon (water if the starter is grass, or fire) and 3 other pokemon.
 
Or maybe only two more Pokemon, since Pikachu's a constant.
 
i hope he gets the dark/ground croc. people say he isn't allowed to get a dark type but i follow the rule of oportunity. in that theres only so many slots open for a wild card pokemon ash just hasn't had the chance to get one yet. thats the reason why it took so long for him to get a dragon type. also i think the reason why corphish didn't evolve yet. is because each league they only increase the evolutions on ash's team by a certain amount. so the rest of ash's team took up the slatted evolutions for that region.
 
I think both tsutaaja and pokabu would make great pokemon for ash but Iris may end up being the one to get tsutaaja. I personally want to see Ash end up with Kibago.He'll get mamepato too since it's probably the regional bird.
 
I think that so far, the only types Ash has never had possession of are Psychic, Steel, and Dark (assuming Haunter and Larvitar can be counted; otherwise, Rock and Ghost can be added to the list). This could be the generation to rectify that.
 
He starts over again with only Pikachu. Likely Tsutāja, later Pokabu. The first'll evolve before he gets the second. The regional Pidgey (Mamepato), some water-type, and something else that won't/can't evolve (like Heracross and Gible). Megrocko could be a replacement for Gible, but I don't see it coming.

The girl: Mijumaru, which'll evolve at least once. Maybe that bat thing (forgot the name). We don't have ANY backstory for Iris yet and we've only seen 29 Pokémon so far, so it's way too soon to say.
 
I think Iris will get Mijumaru (It will not evolve) and Chiramii. As for Ash, I can see him with Hihidaruma, Mamepato, Tsutarja, and possibly another one that we dont know about as of right now
