Ash's Rival

Whenever a rival or another trainer meets Ash, they tend to accuse him as weak before they battle the first time. After the respective battle, Ash loses. Do they have some crystal ball or something because most of them end up knowing Ash's every move. I understand that this is how some trainers act. The times it gets out of hand is when Ash gets upset.

The animi s made to JFK kids in so they watching, and teach young kids that it's not right to mock others. They use the first battle between the two to show kids that the rival is bad, and thethey use thefollowing episodes to show off the transition.
