Assassinate the Target
Yo, War Room! I've been thinking of fun ideas that I could try out for a non-mafia game, because the whole idea of non-mafia games interest me. I came up with an idea, though I'm not too sure of whether it will work out or not. Thus, I would like to conduct a small-scale version of it, and if it gets positive results, I'll host a much bigger version with more depth and an actual theme. The rules of the game are simple; assassinate me, the target. (Figurative, obviously) There will be five assassins trying to complete the mission, but they all have to work together to follow a strict guideline, otherwise they won't be able to kill me and they'll fail their mission.
Rules/Info:
- The game consists of 3 phases, the first one being 48 hours, second being 24 hours, and the third phase being 48 hours.
- The first phase will begin as soon as the sign-ups are filled and everyone is ready.
- This is a strategic team game. The five of you players MUST work together and cooperate to win the game.
- Each of you has one action that you can perform, resulting in a total of five different actions. These actions MUST be completed in a certain order, otherwise the target (myself) will not be killed.
- The chain of actions that are in the thread will be 'locked' when the phase ends. If the chain of actions are correct, you win and the game ends. If not, the game continues to the next phase. If the chain of actions are not correct by the end of the third phase, I win the game.
- Activity is vital to the game. If you fail to post anything for one phase, you will be mod-killed.
- Private messaging is allowed, whether it be through Skype, PMs, or QuickTopic. Because there are no rule violations that I have to watch out for, you do not have to let me in on your conversation.
- To ensure that I am not cheating, I will send the chain of actions that will kill me to a user who is not playing. If you would like to be the one to receive the list, let me know.
Using Your Action:
- You are allowed to change the order of actions whenever you like until the phase ends.
- You may not use your action in the second phase.
- The first person who uses their action in thread will have their action as the first one being used in the chain. The second poster to use his action will have his action be the second in the chain, and so on and so on. So to get this straight, you cannot get your action as the third one in the chain if there is already three+ actions in the chain.
- To use your action, post [/B]Use Action[/B].
- If you want to undo your action, simply post [/B]Undo Action[/B]. This will make all the actions performed after your action move up a spot, and remove your action from the chain.
- Note, the actions are not anything other than an "action".
So to get things clear, the "chain of actions" is the order the actions are used. Once the game has 5 players, I will then create the winning chain. For example, if A, B, C, D, and E are playing, the winning chain of actions may be something like D > A > E > B > C. If anyone is confused, don't hesitate to ask.
Oh, and seeing as this is the first game I am hosting, there may be a few kinks. I ask that you please have the patience to put up with any *possible* errors in this game.
