Lots and lots of news from San Diego's Comic-con.
Spectacular Spider-Man news. Of note:
And Spidey has mechanical web-shooters.
The Batman news. Of note:
Also appears to be the classic Justice League. Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, the works.
Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes news. Of note:
Next season takes place one and a half to two years after the last season.
Lots of interesting stuff. Still no word on that new X-Men cartoon, though. Little frustrating.
Spectacular Spider-Man news. Of note:
Other immediate cast members include: Harry and Norman Osborn, Eddie Brock (indicated to be one of Peter’s friends, and Dr. Curt Conners (sporting a robotic arm). Also, as depicted by the trailer, fans can expect to see Doctor Octopus, Electro, and Vulture in the first season—as well as some of the supporting casts’ villainous counterparts.

The Batman news. Of note:
They showed a trailer with The Batman being taken into space to meet Green Arrow, Green Lantern, The Flash and Hawkman, leading to him joining the Justice League.
"it's kind of always been a plan of ours," Goguen said. "We've always been interested in doing teamup episodes, so this is our teamup season. 13 episodes involve team ups. It's a lot of fun, a lot of action, just very fun episodes."
Also appears to be the classic Justice League. Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, the works.
What about villains? This season we'll see Harley Quinn (voiced by erstwhile Starfire Hynden Walch), Sinestro (voiced by Miguel Ferrer), Black Mask, Scarface, Clayface, Black Mask, Bane, Metalllo, Lex Luthor, Mercy, Phosphorus, The Wrath, Mirror Master (voiced by John Larroquette -- "You wonder if Gotham's going to survive this guy," Burnett said), Hugo Strange, Toyman and Poison Ivy -- to name a few. Movies have Ra's Al Ghul, Two-Face and Scarecrow off the table for now.
Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes news. Of note:
Next season takes place one and a half to two years after the last season.
"Going into the second season, the mandate was to up the ante. Season one was the Silver Age version of the legion. Season two we wanted to make it the Bronze Age, things happen that are a lot more exciting and dangerous. The show's got a lot more hard hitting action. It's darker visually, and the plots are more adult, but not adult skewing. It's a lot more exciting of a show."
As for what other Legionnaires we can expect to see, the panel noted Karate Kid, a return for Matter-Eater Lad (also voiced by Polinsky), Dream Girl, Computo, Nemesis Kid, Dawnstar and Invisible Kid. "He's in every episode," Tucker quipped. The Legion of Substitute Heroes could be seen in cameos, "and Tyroc rocks."
