Attention artists! Your (2D) image-editing software?

Which graphics editor do you use?

Yep, it finally happened! My polls are invading the Artist's Alcove!

So, title says it all, but to elaborate: what software do you use (note that animation software doesn't count, unless it's included with the primary editor)?

For example (not limited to these, of course):

Jasc/Corel Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, or Inkscape (for SVG).

I actually use all of the aforementioned for various purposes.
 
I use Abobe Photoshop CS3 for a lot of my digital drawings. SAI, ArtRage and Painter are all pretty nifty to be using, too -- but Photoshop is easier for me to be navigating, honestly.
 
I use Paintbrush(MSPaint clone for mac) (I have a mac) for recolors, GraphicConverter for splices and Gimp for more complex things.
 
i use MS Paint as my saving agent and use SAI and OpenCanvas for everything else.
 
GIMP! It's free! It's awesome! It's mine (and everyone else's)!

Photoshop and Paint, even if I forgot to vote "other" :p
Photoshop is for complex stuff, Paint for fast edits, taking screens (when I use Print Screen you see?) and making splices, recolours, etc.

I may be one of the few users here who use MSPaint for thier drawings. I'm not very good with other programs
 
LOLZ, you're not alone, Leeney. I can't really download anything cuz it's my dad's comp, and he doesn't approve of any program. (Maybe for my b-day I'll ask for a free program for the comp wink wink)

Cool. I found a way to get Adobe Photoshop CS3 for free once. Why does your dad disapprove though?
 
Because it's his comp, and our comp is already really slow and it doesn't have any space. Plus, he thinks I'll download a virus by mistake. (Which I do sometimes :p)

I doubt you can legally get something that expense for free.

Well maybe trialpay, but I'm not sure if Adobe is with them.
 
I use Picnik, MS Paint, PhotoDraw V2, and MS Photo Editor.

Eye Recolor works miracles for digital coloring. As does Smudge for removing unwanted marks.

I don't think it was legal

I've had it for almost a year and I have no problems with it

Not exactly the brightest idea to admit using warez, but then again, the majority of the HGSS players use it.

Heh.
 
Is it the current version? Because as far as I know, Adobe releases all its out dated versions for free. (Without Save, but a 'Prt Sc' gets around that.)
