Not quite sure where this belongs, so here goes something. Okay...

I'm writing a fanfiction, Torn, abiut the Team Galactic leader Cyrus's life, and, since I am trying to make it as realstic as possible, I request your assistance in aqquiring a piece of information.

What I reqire is for someone to visist Route 228 in Platinum and speak with the old man who lives in the southern area. He is Cyrus's grandfather, and I would lke a word-by-word rendering of what he says. If I have this, I can finally begin writing the fanfic.

I'll reward the first person to bring me the information with an Eevee that knows Shadow Ball.

Please - this is very important to me.

Probly a better place for this forum, but I don't know quote, and u too hips in Eevee. Hips, fun... *distacted by rule 63 daydream*.... If I could get wi-fi to work, I'd want a Huntail anyway.

Though I'm not certain if that would have been a good choice or not...

Wait, deos Cyrus end up with a admin in your story? ANd add Commander Mercury, my official bad guy self insert. Male, white spiky hair,spikey striped colthing, and shiney eye- Visor thing. uses Drapion.

Your question? Well, to be enigmatic - No, and at the same time, yes.

I'm not making up any more commanders, or else I'll face a few problems within the plot, sorry.
 
You realize fanfiction would actually be better if it deviated from the offical plot, right?
 
That may be true, but doing so gives your story a whole lot of originality, so you don't have to stay on rails, so to speak.
 
"Deviated from the plot" can still mean "keeping with known canon 100%". We see maybe three weeks of this guy's life, after all.

Anyway, would it be OK if I moved this to the fanfic area, since it's become more of a fic writing discussion?

Also, if you want another bit of insight, the man who's in that house in DP talks about his son being an avid reader, and that he recently found out that the word "universe" meant "time and space" in an ancient language. Poke around the house at the books on the floor and you'll find that most of them are about the universe. The only ones that aren't are about psychic ability, oddly enough.

Thought that could be of interest to you, although because of those psychic books, people tend to assume that the book guy is Lucian's father (Lucian, after all, is never seen without a book in his hand). But Lucian doesn't have that much of an interest in the universe...
