Welcome to the world of AURA. The story revolves around a collection of individuals who possess the artificial blood of ancient aura-based magic, aptly called Aura. This Aura, given to the those who possess it at birth, grants the user with arcane abilities.
History of Aura, no need to read if you wish; it is simply for further understanding.
You will play as one of the Third Generation of Aura Users. Your character can be anyone from any walk of life, so long as you remain in setting. Learning what that means only takes a sweeping glance at the setting portion of this post. When your character is posted, they will have their Aura evaluated and checked to see if it is too powerful or a duplicate of another person's. A tip: elemental powers are the easiest to get; try to see if that is taken first if you so wish. Beyond this, Aura is very diverse; be creative but please feel free to be slightly broad with your skill.

Long ago, the Aura was used in mass-production for various armies, giving them the ability to triumph over their enemies with little to no effort. It didn't take long for Aura to be outlawed worldwide, with all users purged of its power and the power disposed of before any more calamity could happen.
Now, with the entirety of the population having moved on from their home planet to live upon the surface of New Earth, conspirators have used the disorganization to their advantage by targeting the various formulas used to replicate Aura. This plan was caught onto by the settlers, with many of the conspirators captured and executed. Hundreds of individuals, working under the banner of the Aura Gatherers, fled to hide their findings. Only a small number of formulas have been solved, spread apart to many of the conspirators which they have passed on to avoid law enforcement on the new planet. Over time, as the ugly sides of the planet began to rear itself, the Gatherers began to shape their ideals; use Aura to combat the forces of New Earth's very violent and caustic natural ecosystem.
Unfortunately, complications arose. The people found that to control Aura, it needed to be cumulative. Empowering people with Aura after their cells had been developed only resulted in total collapse of their bodies followed by death. Scientists under the banner quickly came up with an answer; using unborn children to implant Aura within them. With their bodies growing, they would have the natural affinity required to become a prime Aura user. Over time, the group had become more secretive, with many in the ever-developing societies being under the banner in the shadows. They learned to hide themselves, with their numbers fluctuating wildly. Their ideals have changed over the years, differing from group to group, though the base remains the same: the protection and integration of Aura into society.

General Information
- The planet is called "New Earth".
- Colonized by the remnants of the human race over three-hundred fifty years prior to the story.
- Is a large planet, with over 60% of it being dense super-biome: massive deserts, superjungles, extremely dense tundras, etc.
- Has oxygen and other molecules in the atmosphere, allowing for human population.
- Only around 1.2 billion humans live on the planet.
- Creatures are very diverse in their attributes.
- Come in different level classifications: Ranks 1-3, with one being the least dangerous while three is the strongest. These classifications are used only for convenience.
- Some range from only inches tall to being several hundred feet in height.
- Plants can be just as dangerous and large.
- Settlements are under a central overhead government that is governed by each settlement, equally. It is a form of oligarchy made to reduce power vacuums.
- The Aura Gatherers do not work under centralized ideals, though they may co-mingle with one another. There are various laws that govern them, however.
- Aura Gatherers wear equipment like this.
- A character can be other or a member of the Aura Gatherers. It matters not, as they will be exposed to the same thing.
- Give the user the ability to use powers that are dictated by the formulae used to form the Aura serums.
- Gift the user with noticeable increases in the following: physical strength, speed, reaction time, and durability.
Rules
- No Godmodding. No solving problems easily, no auto-hitting/auto-winning, etc.
- No Tennising. Let people catch up with their posts.
- Respect the GM. If something is asked of you, simply do so without making too much of a fuss.
- Respect the players. No arguing. Keep things fun. Follow all of the BMGf rules.
- Don't break the setting. Don't create a character simply for shock or comedic value; fit the tone and the setting.
- One Aura only. You can have only one single Aura ability.

Sera is a young man of average height, with a lean but noticeably toned build due to her training. She has olive skin with brown hair cropped to her shoulders with a bang hanging over her face, and emerald green eyes. She is normally seen with an calm look on her face, showing the seriousness in which her carries himself and her upbringing.
Personality
Sera is a very serious person, strict and determined when dealing with a goal of her. She is not at all adverse to social situations, but prefers to operate on her lonesome. She has a very awkward sense of humor, often morbid and generally unnerving at times. She can be generous and sensitive to other's problems, but nice is definitely not a word she would use to describe herself. Due to her sense of duty, as well as her lifetime of training, she takes the Aura Gatherer cause very seriously.
