In a press release published on their official press site, The Pokémon Company International has announced that the popular Pokémon Center Online Store, currently available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, will soon also be available for Pokémon fans in Australia and New Zealand.

The Pokémon Center Online store stocks a wide variety of Pokémon merchandise, including both the same goods that would be found at other retailers, as well as a variety of exclusive items such as plush toys from Japan, collectables, and homewares. Many items are available for a limited time only, as part of seasonal and themed collections released at different times of the year.

Cindy Ruppenthal — senior director of Pokémon Center and e-commerce at The Pokémon Company International said:
“Since its initial launch in the U.S. nearly 10 years ago, Pokémon Center has become a fan-favorite destination for Trainers looking to engage with the Pokémon brand and express their fandom in ways that suit their unique interests. We remain committed to delivering a diverse selection of high-quality Pokémon merchandise to as many Trainers as possible, and following successful expansions into Canada and the U.K., are continuing this mission by bringing our e-commerce offerings to Australia and New Zealand.”
“We are incredibly grateful to the community for their continuous support and love for Pokémon Center, allowing us to expand into additional regions and bring the joy of Pokémon to more Trainers around the world.”

The launch of Pokémon Center Australia and New Zealand will be carried out in two stages, with an initial soft launch followed by a later official release. No dates have yet been formally announced, however fans can sign-up to receive an email newsletter for updates on the official Pokémon Center site.
