Author Kurt Vonnegut dead at 84.

I was hoping someone would post this sooner or later...

Yeah, I was pretty shocked when I heard it. Here in Indy, where he lived, it's been all the news and stuff's been covering... he's like a local treasure. The really ironic thing is, the library here had made 2007 The Year of Vonnegut, and he didn't even get to see the end of it...
Though now I want to read his work more than ever.

I don't hate Vonnegut because of one famous quote that he once said matches my sense of humor.

"I smoke Pall Malls because they are a classy way to commit suicide."

What's with the "Happy Birthday"?
 
Over Winter Break, I had to read "Breakfast of Champions" for my English class. I thought it was one of the most interesting books I have ever read. Vonnegut was such an amazing author, and had such a unique writing style. Shame that he died the way he did.
 
I'll take a happy birthday right about now :p and shhhh, it's not even my birthday >.> <.<
