It's been 500 years since the War. The Avatar Cycle has repeated itself several times, now back to Earth. The Air Nomads have been reestablished, and the world it at peace. Technology has advanced greatly, now far greater than in the time of Aang, but still relying on Bending in its own way to do so.

However, a great evil has been unleashed. An antithesis to the Avatar has come into being. A being that is equal in power to the Avatar, able to Bend all four elements. This being seeks to distabilize the balence between the nations, and throw the world into chaos were the Avatar exists to bring order. To make matters worse, a mysterious fifth Bending nation appears, the Shadow Empire. This evil group were sealed away eons past by an Avatar for unspeakible sins, now follow this evil Avatar in hopes of freeing their people. Will the new Avatar learn the elements in time or will the world fall?

Ok, my character:

Name: Sora Avias
Age: 18
Position: Normal Bender
Gender: Female
Element: Air
Personality: Kinda like Aang, actually, fun loving an energetic, she loves to fool around, but when it comes to serious situations, she’s dead serious.
Other: She’s the descendent of Aang, thus she was sent looking for the new Avatar when the Shadow Empire reappeared. She has a female Sky Bison named Naomi.

The evil Avatar doesn't get a bio, since he's mysterious and that's part of his aura of cool.
 
Okay, want to start in a Temple for Avatars only and your character comes and introduces herself.
 
OOC: Yeah, but maybe you start with Harpen being informed he's the new Avatar.

It was a pleasant day for Harpen, today was his Birthday. He walked out of his house and shut the door with Earthbending. He walked into a nearby Temple his family had rented for his party. The party began as he walked in. His face was all smiles until several Temple Sages walked in and announced the finding of the new Avatar. They walked in front of Harpen and bowed as everyone else did the same.
 
Sora stood at a nearby door, watching. She knew this was likely a difficult time for Harpen, few found it easy to discover they'd been made the new Avatar.
 
OOC: You know follow him and tell him how good it is to be a Avatar

Harpen doesn't bow back and runs away in fear of what was to come.
 
As he gets outside, a Sky Bison blocks his path. Sora walks up. "I know this is hard." she said. "But you must understand, without an Avatar, no ballence can exist." she explained. "And it's a good thing to be the Avatar, you're not tied to one group, but to all of them, everyone is your nation, you're of them all."
 
"Yeah right, I'm not the Avatar and I never will be!" Harpen shouts, as he shoots himself over the bison with a rock.
 
Sora followed on an Air Scooter. "I'm sorry, but it's the truth, and I'm afraid you'll have to accept it, because the world is going to need an Avatar very soon...I don't know what, but a great evil is awakening."
 
"Thats just Air nomad crazy talk." Harpen says speeding up.
 
"An Airbender descended from Avatar Aang." said Sora. "His direct descendent."
 
"I'm not the Avatar now leave me alone!" Harpen says tunneling underground.
 
Sora used AirBending to pull him out and lift him off the ground. "Look, I know this is hard to take, it's never easy for someone to find out." she said. "But if you don't take your responsibility, people are going to die because you didn't. Do you really want that on your conscious?"
 
"Why would they, the world is at peace, I'm not the Avatar and I never will be." Harpen shouts.
 
Sora was about to respond when a commotion came from nearby. Apparently, someone had tried to kill the Earth King.
 
"Whats wrong?" Harpen asks not hearing what had happened.
 
Sora brought him over to a television, showing an apparent Firebender trying to assissinate the Earth King, managing to blast him in the face before fleeing. The Earth King survived, but was critical. "They said he's running down the west side of the city, maybe we can cut him off."

OOC: They're in the Earth Kingdom Capital, right?
