Everything changed when the Fire nation attacked. Everything really changed when Avatar Korra allowed the spirit portals to remain open. Korra is busy exploring the spirit world but once again evil threatens the world. The malicious feelings of past Fire lords has caused long deceased Fire nation soldiers to rise from the earth and create chaos in New republic city. In small numbers, the red uniform wearing zombies (technically lost spirits) are easy to dispatch but in large numbers, the creatures manage to overrun entire villages and soon occupy most areas of land. Desperate for a solution, the best benders (people or animals who can use powers of earth, water, fire or air) on the planet follow the advice written on an ancient water tribe scroll and try to bend a hole into the earth.
Little do they realize that the hole is in actuality, a tunnel that leads to the Kanto regions Cinnabar island volcano! Tragically this event unleashes the Fire nation ghouls onto an unsuspecting Pokemon world. The scroll states that the key to stopping the spirit zombies lies at the bottom of a far away ocean in a distant place. The only problem is that the local population and pokemon might not be willing to cooperate, since they will probably view anything coming out of the volcano to be a threat. Can the benders from all nations find the key before it is too late? Will the pokemon be able to save their home from the invasion of outsiders? The avatar is away, so it is up to ordinary citizens and creatures to save the day!
Due to mysterious spirit world energies, there is a tunnel just outside of New Republic city that connects to the world of Pokemon and the exit is the mouth of the volcano. The Fire nation ghouls randomly attack everybody, are capable of fire bending and can climb out of the ground in some places but they are slow.
Players may choose to be either an elemental bender, a wild pokemon or a pokemon trainer with one pokemon.
Teaming up with other characters is optional.
Rules
No excessive godmoding
No controlling other players characters
Creating or controlling minor non player characters is ok
This should not be considered a "serious" Rp
The storyline is relatively open ended, side stores are allowed

1. Pokemon trainer + one pokemon - Well balanced, less power but has access to most battle moves and knowledge. Able to use human devices
2. Wild pokemon - Usually starts at a higher level but has less move variety (no TM moves)
3. Elemental Bender - Can use any move from their chosen type and can make combination moves. Slightly less raw power than some wild pokemon.
(Pokemon species can be from any region so long as it is not a legendary or a ghost type)
