This would be the first time I am keeping up with the Pokemon anime and also being in the online part of it all. I was wondering how you guys try to avoid spoilers. It won't kill me if I know some small bits, but I would really like to see the League as it happens. Is there a place where you could watch it in Japanese with subtitles?

We use spoiler tags for anything important. [ spoiler ] [ / spoiler ]
I'd say about maybe 6 or 7 major events happen.

As for avoiding spoilers, most of us don't. The main spoilers are team changes and most of us don't mind knowing them before we see them happen.

There's no point in Pokemon fansubs since the dub hardly ever changes anything except music and voice actors. It's not One Piece or Cardcaptor Sakura or something.

There's really not much to actually spoil in Pokemon anyway.

Aside from captures/evolutions, and wins/losses at Gyms/Contests...there's not much else I'd consider to be spoilers.

Pokemon is also that rare show where I want to know everything before I even watch it. If I could find out now what would happen in Pokemon from now all the way to the end of the series, I'd actually spoil myself everything. :p

It's hard to consider much of anything in a show so heavily based on a game a spoiler.

If I recall, Dattebayo Fansubs used to sub Pokémon for a while, but it's been stopped a good while ago already. Probably due to all the problems with people constantly uploading their subs on streaming sites, which they specifically have prohibited.

The show needs to shake things up a bit.Create new plots and surprises and not the same ol' gyms, team rocket and win/lose plot.Make something different...something surprising.
