Absol is my all-time favourite since Gen III due to its theme. It has a pretty sad story whereas it was accused for bringing disaster while its motive is to warn to people after it has sensed the disaster. Its ability and movesets are also kinda gives out disaster feeling. Its could bring pressure to the opponents and critical is always a disaster to anyone who received it. The punishment and me first move could also bring disaster to the enemies as a penalty for their actions.

Re: awsome summer pokemon giveaway!

Charmander is my favorite pokemon.i love it because it is an original starter pokemon. It also has the coolest shiny evolution. It is so cute how can you not like it.Talk to anyone and ask them who is your favorite starter they will say charmander or i can't decide.

Charmander is the best he gets knocked down and gets right back up.
He is the toughest starter ever he can not lose to anyone.I one hit ko a squirtle with my charmander.he is the only starter that can learn fly (when fully evolved). This has been two awesone paragraphs
about my favorite pokemon.

When generation 3 came out, in my opinion, the best pokemon did as well. Although this pokemon had inferior stats to its fellow dragons, its typing gives it a very nice niche in the OU metagame, this is the under dragon Flygon!.It has a pretty cool evolution line, first it was this little tiny bug thing then it turned into a dragon flygon. When i first got a trapinch and evolved it i was shocked to see that such an inferior pokemon turned out so well. Compared with salamence, the other gen III dragon flygon can destroy it with a choice scarf set making it better in my eyes.

Flygon is also a fav in the metagame, the common scarf set is one of the best revenge killers. If your using a non-choice item its a shock to opponents when they switch in thinking your locked into a move. One this that flygon is missing is some kind of dance, swords dance or dragon dance. All other dragons have at least 1 of those but unfortunatly flygon, with its inferior att stat compared with its fellow dragons cannot try to boost it. Flygon also looks awesome when shiny and besides looks that dragon is deadly and great in most teams which is why its my favorite.

Gligar is my absolute favorite Pokemon because it just looks great. GligarMan introduced me to it in his anime special and I have been in love with it since. Ash had one before it evolved, and that was a nice portrayal of how loveable they are. Gigar's shiny sprite impresses me because of the many hues of blue that it sports, and blue is my favorite color. I also like it as it is a bat-shaped Pokemon that has a stinger and cool-looking claws. Personally, I think it looks cute when it glides down to eat your face.

It is great in battle because it is immune to two common types, electric and ground, and really only one type is to be worried about while fighting an opponent, the ice type. It also evolves into the deadly Gliscor if you need the added stat bonuses. It can learn Guillotine, a OHKO move, and U-Turn, so that it can hit and run, by Level Up which makes it extra awesome. You can teach it things like Earth Power and Arial Ace which get STAB and this can turn the tide of battle. But when you breed it... Oh, yes Gligar can become nearly unstoppable with moves like Cross Poison and Dark Pulse. Gligar is, by far, my favorite Pokemon of all time.

Smartgamer, what's your favorite Pokemon?

Not once do I ever remember being scared by a horror movie. From the time I saw the movie Chuckie in forth grade, I've loved them, and only helped to inspire my love for the occult, which has fascinated me since before I can remember. It's only natural, then, that I fall in love with ghost type pokemon. In the first generation, there weren't many ghost types to chose from, but even now that there are, none can overcome my love for Haunter. I fell in love with Haunter while watching the anime as a child, watching what became my favorite episode, and only partially for the reason that Ash died. It was creepy, hyper, obnoxious, and I wished more than anything that I could be friends with it. Or, even better, to be one. The crazy, homicidal feeling Haunter projects is definitely, to me, the most appealing thing about it, only strengthened by its amazing character design.

I will admit that the typing sucks. Because it's half poison, it can't effectively use its advantage over psychic types, but I like to keep it in my team regardless. Whenever I'm playing the game and it faints, I'm forced to feel the slightest bit guilty, even though it's clearly not real and nothing more than a small bit of data. Because of that, even though Haunter's continuously in my party, I like to be careful with it, only sending out if I'm absolutely sure that it'll win the battle. Otherwise, I tuck it carefully into my party, where I feed it rare candies, give it the experience share, and try to shelter it from battle.

Which is, I'm realizing, ironic when considering why I like it in the first place. xD What's the fun of a homicidal maniac if you keep it locked up? Regardless, I don't think I'm going to change my protective ways soon.

Well... I think that's it. I'm not sure how to end this, so... Hopefully it's satisfactory!

Swampert is my all-time favorite Pokemon because of my memories of it. Mudkip was the first ever starter I had so I was quickly attached to it. When it finally evolved into Swampert, I loved it even more. To me, it was the essential awesome Pokemon. Its looks in the sprite looked just plain cool.

Also, it was the only Pokemon I used to beat the E4. Albeit it wasn't a smart idea (I was pretty young) I did it and my lovable Swampert beat up the E4. I was completely excited and wanted to give my Swampert a big hug when he defeated Steven. Because of my good memories of my original Swampert, it became my all-time favorite Pokemon. If I could, I'd like to have a pet Swampert.

Ever since I heard about it, Shaymin has been my favorite. The land forme is cute and cheers me up when I've been dumped/rejected. It was also one of the easiest legends for me to capture being at lvl 30. The ability it has (Natural Cure) is useful when facing some of its weaknesses. However, my love for it was expanded when Platinum and Giratina and the Sky Warrior came out.

At the time that I planned to get the TRU Shaymin, I was grounded for grades on Valentines Day. I was so depressed until I saw Giratina and the Sky Warrior. The sky forme was so cool and powerful that it gave me hope. Not to mention that it helped save the Reverse World. It really wowed me to see a group of them flying off together into the sunrise.

It was a warm summer night back in 99'. I was ten years old, in a cabin on a camp out. It was the middle of the night, and I was playing my Blue version next to a window by the ambient light from a lamp outside. Everyone was asleep, but I couldn't stop playing, for I had reached dragon master Lance for the first time in my life. After a fierce battle, Lance sent out his final pokemon; it was the majestic, humble Dragonite.

The more that Dragonite tore through what was left of my team, the more I fell in love with it. From that battle on, I never had another game that didn't have a Dragonite in it at some point. It's a beautiful pokemon, extremely versatile, and yet not legendary. His personality is also very admirable, like a humble knight who is proud of his power but not boastful. Dragonite will always have a special place in my heart.

My favorite pokemon is Charmander.this pokemon is my favorite pokemon because he is such a cool pokemon. He evolves into cooler pokemon such as Charmeleon and Charizard. He is a strong stubborn pokemon. His personality reminds me of myself on occasion.
Charizard can fly and do dragon moves and fire moves. This makes me become amazed by how great he is. Everytime i start a pokemon game i make sure that i have a way to get him because he is my soul companion in pokemon. Without Charmander as my starter these games wouldn't be a breaze. When playing with Charmander it doesn't seem like a mission to defeat these games,it is just a way of having fun, which is why this pokemon out of all the pokemon is my favorite.

My most favourite pokemon is Swampert because I've been really attached to it before my game died. The yellow eyes, the fins, the scary face it has, I love it all heee
Best part is he is great in battles Especially with electric types coz every team I see has at least one.
I immediately chose Mudkip without knowing it will evolve to Swampert just because it was blue haha
Also, I was a water starter user and I really love Mudkip and his evo's design.

If Swampert was in my SS, I'll talk to him every second every minute haha
Some people think he's a monster but I really wish he was real, pet Swamperts would be funnn.
I make sure I get Mudkip in my Gen IV games because I just don't like Empoleon and I used Thyplosion in HGSS.
Hope he returns in Gen V, it'll be like a dream come true.

EDIT: SHIT DOUBLE POST GDI INTERNET I ONLY DOUBLE CLICKED THE BUTTON NOT-- forget it

My Favorite pokemon would have to be the ferocious Houndoom. I always liked this pokemon because of its fearsome looks and also because it reminded me of one of my own dogs. My dog was an australian cattle dog who had some Dingo blood in him, he was a wild dog who truely wasent afraid of anything. I feel like he was my real life Houndoom, he was black with hints of red so all he was missing was the horns. My dog also wasent afraid of anything, he lept in front of moveing cars and survived being hit, he only fainted, just like my pokemon Houndoom. :)

I always make sure i have a Houndoom in all of my pokemon games and hes a great addition to my team, with him being Fire and Dark. I really liked seeing him in some of the pokemon tv and movie shorts because he was sly and cunning villian which matches my personality as well as my dog's. I sometimes feel as if my dog could breath fire like a Flamethrower, and eminate shadowy darkness like Dark Pulse, just like my Houndoom in the game. But at least he knows Bite! This is why my favorite pokemon and dog is Houndoom.

wow these are really getting good

i think the ice around mahh heart is melting *cough* nope just a cough.
XD

My favorite pokemon is Politoed. The reason being is that I always wanted there to be a frog pokemon. You see I love frogs,I always have. The reason being is that when i was little every weekend i would go to my grandpas house and we would go catch toads and frogs together. We would also play pokemon stadium after that. and we would battle and i would choose poliwrath he would choose the same. I turned 10 and thats what i wanted to do for my birthday. thats all i ever wanted to do catch frogs and play pokemon. So my grandpa told me the 2nd gen was coming out and i was hoping for a frog or toad pokemon. Lo-and-behold my wish came true. I was so happy that I started saving for the new games. They came out and i got silver. The first thing i did when i got those pokeballs was catch a poliwag. I trained it forever and then i had the argues task of finding a kings rock and after that all i had to do was trade with ma Gramps. When i got the politoed i was so excited. From then on every game i got my strongest pokemon was politoed. He's always so happy, and thats why i like him.

lol i can see that this died
im gone a couple of days and look what happened!
im still gonna let this go until 7/24/10 (maybe sooner!)

Lucario snuck behind the violet and silver beast. The fear in its eyes wasn't evident to the rest of his squad. The team consisted of Luxray,Charizard with an odd color of black with purplish wings, Cubone whos evolution has been intentionally suppressed by his original trainer,Raichu, and Buziel, ready to pounce at given glance of their squad leader.

Palkia seemed to stare off in the sky, as if it was waiting for something, Dialga, giratina perhaps. It had been only a few days since they're epic three way battle. Lucario ordered them one after one to attack. And as his teammates all fell to the might of the legend. It was in the hands of the final combatant to avenge his troops. The blue aura surrounded him, a silent meditative state took over him, the hue overtook most of the area and suddenly with a thrust of his palms..a large blast forced itself from his hands and towards Palkia, who after defeating 5 others, felt nothing was worth fearing from this attack. How foolish he was, as Lucario stood triumphant over his stiff unconscious body.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
This is a VERY dramatized version of how Lucario became my favorite pokemon, through a battle I had with those same pokemon vs a solo 100 level Palkia.

I hope, if I dont win, Your at least entertained :)
