when you breed kangaskhan with ditto, you get a kangaskhan with the baby in its pouch. why isn't there a baby kangaskhan yet? srsly its like the only pokemon thats a pokemon but isn't a pokemon. i REALLY hope gamefreak makes a baby kangaskhan in generation V.

also a make kangaskhan would be nice

discuss?

This has been discussed to death before.

1.) Kangaskhan is the "Parent" Pokemon. Do you really think it would let you remove it from its pouch?

2.) A "baby" Kangaskhan is just that: a baby. There's a difference between an infant and a Baby Pokemon. Baby Kangaskhans are simply smaller versions of Kangaskhan.

3.) Would you really want to send a baby into battle like that? I'm already annoyed that you can fight Cleffa, Igglybuff, etc. in battle.

This has been asked for for so long that I'm surprised it hasn't yet surfaced. To tell the truth, there are plenty of pokes that may or may not be small enough to hatch from an egg, but it would be difficult to figure out which ones to target, as Gamefreak is fairly random with pre-evos. Not to mention, there are pokes are already pretty big in their most basic form, but they have no more room for lesser forms (Rhyhorn for instance) I digress, though. As for this one, they would have to make an excuse for a Kanga baby to exist without its mother.

Ok, I stated this a few dozen times in past, but oh well, another:

In Anime, pokedex enteries and whatnot, it states that the baby Kangaskhan is just this, no un evolved, or evolved. It starts life this way. It then "grows up" not evolves, bur grows like a wild animal or you start as a baby and grow up. Then as it gets older, it grows a pouch and the baby is formed in pouch with no help, just happens, this makes sure that every adult (which are all female) are able to produce another kangaskhan.

I know its not shown in Anime or Games as it would take years for a baby Kangaskhan to become adult, but it is this way. Pokedex enteries:

Stadium: "The female raises its young in its belly pouch for around three years. The young is taken out once it learns to find food. " - which sort of shows, even if it does not mention Evolution it does not evolve into an adult and this line shows that "The young is taken out once it learns to find food.".

Yeah Kangaskhan was just a pokemon that got fucked over by the introduction of breeding. In the games they hatch with babies, which is really weird, but they're based heavily off the concept of a marsupial which implies no external egg, which all pokemon were introduced to hatch from. It's weird, and they're better off at this point just looking past it and ignoring it. If GF really wanted a baby kangaskhan, they easily could have done it in gens 2 or 4. They chose not to, so I don't see why we would get that now.

should we have one? Yeah, probably. Will we get one? No. It's such a trivial and pointless thing. anyone who gets it is most likely getting it for the dex or to evolve it. And frankly, I thought most of us were against getting unnecessary prevolutions.

Then again, this is Pokémon - it's never too late for a retcon with this series, especially if Gen. V reboots and revamps a lot of features.

We won't get one. Gamefreak already wanted to put one in gen I, but they axed it and the leftover data we know as Missingno. were all his remains (hence why missingno. evolves into kanghaskahn).

Why would they now decide they want one anyway?

Biggest Pokemon myth ever.

Even Bulbapedia, the biggest source of Pokemon speculation on the 'Net, acknowledges that MissingNo. wasn't intended to be a "baby" Kangaskhan. It's simply a glitch that comes about from the game calling from a part of the coding that doesn't hold Pokemon data.

If we were to take MissingNo.'s evolutionary path as serious beta information, then 3TrainerPoké or LM4 are beta Clefairy pre-evolutions.

Oh, and MissingNo. doesn't evolve into Kangaskhan; 'M does.

Kangaskhan hatching already with a baby disturbs me, so I support baby Kangashan.

I mean, we finally got a retcon so Matine doesn't hatch with a Remoraid attached to it, anymore.

All GameFreak needs to do is put a timer on all hatched Kangaskhans where their sprite is stand-alone, then eventually a baby is added to the pouch. No actually Baby Pokemon needed.

this is true, so ill support the baby Kangaskhan.

I'd support it if it could be either gender.

If it's female, it would evolve into Kangaskhan.

If it's male, it would evolve into a new male counterpart of Kangaskhan.

If it was like that, I'd support it.

I think id only truly support it if the baby kanga only evolved into a new male counterpart i guess i wouldnt mind though if it evolved into a male or female...

Why wouldn't it just be female-only like Smoochum?

Thats a good point i just think its because people want a male counterpart to kangaskan as well as a baby thus the spilt evolution that keeps coming up i wouldnt mind a male counter part to kangas but i guess in all honesty i dont want a baby...

though i agree a level 1 newly hatched kangaskan with a baby in its pouch is a little weird but i guess in the RW i believe its aphits(i know its spelled wrong but the things ladybugs eat) are born pregnant
