What pokemon would like to see get a pre-evoulution

In my opinion Kangaskhan or maybe Stantler

Honestly, I don't want to see any more baby pokemon. I actually like having pokemon without evolutions. Call me crazy, but it feels kind of cheap when pokemon get new evolutions so that they can retroactively become normal pokemon.

Although I would not say no to a baby that evolved into Miltank or Tauros based on gender...

This makes me wonder. why is it called evolution if it acts more like growth cycle?
It sounds cool. :p Judging by Digimon, I think it's more a staple of the monster raising genre more than anything.

Anyway, going through the National Dex, here's some ideas:

-Onix
-Lickitung
-Scyther
-Dunsparce (for the lulz)
-Skarmory
-Nosepass
-Plusle and Minun (a neutral one)
-Tropius
-Absol

I've had enough with baby Pokemon. I hope Gen V is like Gen III where there was only like one pre-evolution. But a pre-evo for Tropius would be alright.

^This. And if they still add lots of new Pokémon related to old ones, it's better for them to be evolutions, not preevos. Babies look cute, but are useless. On the other side, evos raise out the potential of the Pokémon, thus making it more competitive (or competitive, if it wasn't at all prior).

Baby Pokemon are just there to fill out empty spaces in new generations. They justify the pre-evos by giving them attacks that they can only learn as babies. For Example, Jynx doesn't learn Psychic naturally. The only way is if Smoochum learns it.

when i was little i was thought that geodude was the pre evo lol

Maybe Dunsparce but there was too many baby pokemon like Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Azurill

Baby Pokémon are mostly there for marketing reasons.

"If X is popular, just how popular would a baby X be?..."

That's the reasoning behind many baby forms. Also, some Pokémon seem too "advanced" or too strong to hatch out of the egg fully formed. It makes sense to have a younger version of that Pokémon.

Baby Pokémon can be useful by learning moves that the evolved forms can really benefit from. Wobbuffet is classified as an Uber because of a single move that it can learn as a Wynaut.

As for what baby forms I'd want to see... I'd like to see Misdreavus with one. Able to learn Fake Tears and Nasty Plot (and maybe other moves through breeding).

He should have had a baby two gens ago.

You don't even want to know what that brought to mind.

No more baby Pokémon. They were fine in Generation II, since that's the Generation that introduced breeding, but now they just mess up the continuity.

And the Incense thing doesn't make any 'cense. How can Incense fumes cause an offspring to hatch prematurely?

I want a Skarmory preevo (flying birdie with sharp feather, say only the tip to be steel) and evo (steel/dragon..oh yeah...with Levitate 'cause it still needs to fly...)

And I want a Plusle and Minun evo...something badass... XD

.... :bounce: 200 posts :bounce:

Mabye a Plusle/Minun evo that can only happen if the other version is in the party(IE Minun cant evolve if there isnt a Plusle walking around with him) And Congratz.

i think scyther wud be cool and the miltank-tauros idea
but what wud be AWESOME would be the baby kangaskhan which if male evolves into a male version of kangaskhan which wud be sorta like tyranitar
