Pesky backgrounds and outlines bothering you? Let me see if I can help.

Just some examples of some background removal I've done lately:

You're really good at this, Pie. I'll be sure to ask you if there's ever anything I need the background removed on :).

By the way, you don't need to credit me for those pictures. All I did was screencap them.
 
Perfecting my technique a bit. I'll just link you to where the images are on Bulbagarden Archives. Some might look the same as before, but if you were to look closely, you would notice the lines turned yellow on the old ones and remain nice and black on the new ones...

Anyway, just because I felt like it and was kind of bored, another image edited from the DP anime website. The lines were really thin on this one, so it was really hard to remove the blue outline and still preserve the black lines. In the end, I tried adding black to the lines instead - what do you think? Did it come out okay?

I think it came out really good, much better than anything I could do.
 
Sure, removing the background from sprites is easy as...

...

I mean, um, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

EDIT: Don'tcha just hate it when you think it saved your changes and it didn't and you don't know why? XP
