What Pokemon's movepool drive you crazy? For me Pokemon that can't lean certain TMs when they should is really annoying but that was mainly in Gen 1 so now it's much better, besides that not many specific Pokemon have really bad movepools besides Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, Patrat and a few other.

Sandslash. Does not learn and ground type moves by level-up except like Sand Tomb with is a terrible attack. Since I used my Dig TM on a Growlithe before I found this out, mine's forced to work with Crush Claw, Rollout, Rock Smash and freaking Poison Sting. (Though I admit the high chance of Rock Smash lowering defense is somewhat useful.)

Glaceon, one of my favorite pokemon in the game held back by the lack of any decent stat boosting moves. Nasty Plot would be godly on a Glaceon.

I don't know, Raticate and its younger, crappier sibling both have a fairly large movepool. It's just that Raticate has sucky stats - it has a wide range of moves to choose from, so you could have a lot of fun with it.

Serperior really only has access to Grass and Normal type moves, though I guess it may be able to moves from a couple of other types with the new move tutors in BW2. Also Pidgeot only really has access to Normal and Flying type moves, so it doesn't really have much to choose from.

Flareon and Shiftry. I mean, look at Flareon's HUGE attack, and it can't make a good use of it because it doesn't get any physical Fire-type attacks aside from Fire Fang, which isn't very strong. Why don't they let Flareon learn Flare Blitz?!

And, it really bugs me that Shiftry can't learn Leaf Blade.

Serperior kinda sucked being only to be able to use Grass and a few Normal Type moves here and there.

Empoleon doesn't excatcally have the best movepool ever either in my opinion. I think Empoleon should learn a different Grass-Type move besides Grass Knot.

Couple more I'll post after the next person posts. I can't think of all of them.

MILOTIC!!! I spent ages trying to find a Feebas, when i got it i was over the moon. Then when it evolves into Milotic pretty much the only good moves it can learn are water type, no variety. I nearly cried!

Most Grass, Fire, and Electric type Pokemon, the Eveelutions, Unfezant, and Fish-like Pokemon suffer from lackluster movepools to cover their weaknesses.

Mawile's movepool is kind of crappy. I have one, and I'm disappointed it can't learn really any good steel-type moves.

My problem with the Rattata line is that they learn a ton of moves but they don't often compliment their stats and compensate for their weaknesses, I like Empoleons movepool, a couple of the Eeveelutions have good movepools and for some more Pokemon that have bad move
pools include:
Wingull
Farfetched
Woobat
For Pokemon with lackluster movepools include:
Snublle
Alomola
Deerling
Meowth

I've never had any gripes with Serperior's movepool. I had an Adamant one on my first playthrough of Black with Leaf Blade / Aerial Ace / Leech Seed / Toxic. It wasn't brilliant but he got the job done. I've a Modest one now with the Contrary ability, got it set up with Leaf Storm / Hidden Power (Rock) / Leech Seed / Toxic. I love me some seeders. :p

Typhlosion and Sceptile have irritatingly shallow movepools versus their stat distribution, but they make sense, even if I wish they were more versatile. Some water-type Pokémon, like Seismitoad or Kingler, I would love to use if they had Waterfall.

I would disagree. Milotic learns some decent offensive moves like Dragon Pulse and Ice beam while it has a boatload of support moves like Recover, Dragon Tail, Hypnosis, etc.

You do know Serperior has gotten a boost thanks to Move Tudors right? He got Dragon Pulse and Outrage (Dragon) and Aqua Tail (Water) not the best but still a good boast... he's easily the best of the Unova Starts and once Contrary get's released he'll become pretty strong...

Well, it won't be that way for me until Pokemon BW2 is released in the USA.

I wish that Shinx could learn both Ice Fang and Double Kick.

Entei. Absolutely horrible movepool, with only ONE Physical Fire-type move, which is Fire Fang. Not very powerful. I wish they'd make better use of him 'cause he's pretty awesome. The other Physical move he learns is Stomp, which again, isn't very powerful. :-/

well technically there's an event in which entei gets flare blitz/extremespeed; that, combined with stone edge and hidden power grass, make entei a rather powerful physical attacker in the lower tiers.
but i don't think you're talking about events. in that case, i agree with you.

anyways, flareon, escavalier, zapdos. it was unfortunate that zapdos didn't receive hurricane in 2(bw), but it was for the best, i suppose: lightningrod zapdos with hurricane/thunder/roost/hidden power (ice/grass) in the rain would be able to beat practically anything slower than it, sans blissey.

Oh, yeah, I have that event. XD Another is Pikachu, with Attack being higher than Sp. Atk (Not by much, though), he only learns 3 Physical moves thru level up, none of which are Electric. Luckily, he can learn Volt Tackle and Wild Charge through TM and Breeding.

Butterfree/Beautifly/Mothim/Dustox have the awful typing, stats and movepools. I wish Ninjask/Shedninja got more physical moves. A lot of Water types have the same issue sans typing problems.

Fantastic attack stat, no good physical moves, ability doubles the mediocre special attack stat into respectable stat...few good special moves.
