baseball bloopers and scary moments

I once saw drunks at Great American Ball Park run on the field during a rain delay.

I remember that recently a trapped hawk was found in the middle of a baseball game in Miller Park. Must've wanted to catch the game, too :XD2:

I was actually at Miller Park when that happened. The hawk was going after some poor pigeon (the pigeon got away and took the hell off) and ended up on the field. Then it sorta just... hung out on the field for a bit. At one point, it was sitting in front of the Brewers dugout, staring at one of the security guys like, "Yeah, I'm here. What are you going to do about it?" It then took off to shallow right field and poor Hunter Pence of the Astros was keeping his eye on it like he was afraid of being attacked. Made for an interesting game. But there's never a dull moment at Miller Park, believe me.

1. That was awesome.

2. A rather famous moment, with Randy Johnson's pitch killing a bird that randomly flew in front of it. Being Canadian, it's somewhat nostalgic for me to hear that in French, as the Expos used to have broadcasts in both languages. In fact, I read that the Expos' French broadcasters had to literally invent a number of baseball terms because they didn't exist in French at the time. For example, I remember reading that they struggled to come up with a French equivalent for "pickoff" and eventually settled on something, but I forget what.
