This is a thread for analyses of battles on both Showdown and in-game, share your battle and how you thought it out.

I'll start this off with a battle I had earlier today.
F73G-WWWW-WW39-TMTX

Team Preview:
I can see that Gardevoir can OHKO or 2HKO everything on his team, however I can't safely bring it in by any means other than by using it to revenge his Machamp. Once it's Mega Evolved, however, if I get it in safely, nothing he has can counter it. I decide to make a passive lead with Rotom-W, as it can easily handle everything on his team bar Ninjask (which may try to BP into Electivire) or Gengar (Which straight up 2HKOs it).

Turn 1:
Well this is a great lead matchup. Electivire can't do much to me unless it's banded, and it hates a burn regardless of its set. I go for a Will-o-Wisp, hoping to catch his switch-in.

Turn 2:
He didn't switch. Thunder Punch takes off ~35%, and Wisp hit, which is great news. I can now safely go in to Gardevoir and Mega Evolve to grab a free KO. There's an additional benefit to this play, which is that if he goes for Thunder Punch again, I can potentially Trace Motor Drive and get a free speed boost, which may win me the game right there.

Turn 3:
It worked, Gardevoir is now at +1 Speed and can tear through most of his team with ease. I go for Hyper Voice, as Psyshock may not KO.

Turns 4-6:
Gengar and Ninjask respectively are sacced to Gardevoir, Ninjask managing to fire off a Toxic before it goes down (weird set).

Turn 7:
Feraligatr comes out. I try to KO it with Hyper Voice, but it barely survives the hit and easily OHKOs me with Waterfall.

Turn 8:
I go to Rotom-W and try to bring Feraligatr down with Volt Switch while getting Latias in safely, but it dodges the second part of this plan as it deliberately faints itself by using Dragon Claw instead of Crunch, activating its Life Orb and KOing itself. Volt Switch fails, and I have to try to bring Latias in manually to clean with it.

Turns 9-13:
Machamp is burned by Rotom-W, making a direct switch into Latias safe. Latias outspeeds and OHKO's both Machamp and Blaziken, as the latter lacks Protect to stall for a Speed Boost.
