------------------

In layman's terms...Pokemon Battle Frontier is currently the #1 rated show on Cartoon Network and the #2 kids show on Saturday mornings (the #1 spots belong to Spongebob Squarepants (9:00am) and Mr. Meaty (9:30am)). Not a bad start for the franchise's "rebirth" on the network.

The episodes that aired that day, by the way, were "May's Egg-cellent Adventure" (9:00am) and "Weekend Warrior" (9:30am).

Spongebob sucks, so no surprise.

CW seems to be failing without Pokemon or Yugi.

CN must have known it was picking up guaranteed ratings. :-) Now if they'd only air in Canada...

SpongeBob hasn't always sucked. It wasn't until mid-third season that the quality began to drop. Season four and the movie are just plain unwatchable, though. Series better left in the graveyard, but nooooo...

Yes, I did just type "SpongeBob" and "quality" in the same sentence.

Who wants to bet Pokémon's going to be on much more often than it is now in the coming months? :P

Also...

"Pokémon has to be one of the most popular cartoons of all time, and I've got the underwear to prove it!"

Well, it made me snicker. The other "talking-during-a-show's-credit-thingy" saying "I caught 'em all but that was not fun so I let 'em all go" makes me want to throw a knife at the TV, however. :(

I HATE THE CARTOON NETWORK ANNOUNCER!

HE MUST BE DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously....

Wow, I guess that's one more thing to add to the "Pokemon is not dead" argument!

And on the topic of the CN announcer... he is very annoying, although it's about on par with the things KidsWB would do (Holiday Sock Party, anyone?).

Truth be told, I actually miss that little sock guy. It was a funny little gimick the first go around to me at least.

Well I'm glad to see Pokemon still going strong even after a network transfer.
Just shows how dedicated the fans are.

Wow, that's interesting.

I guess this means that many people like the new voices afterall?

*wonders how many hundreds of people have already forgotten the original voices*

Or, maybe it isn't that. I'm probably just getting worried again. ^^o

Anyway, maybe it's just the fact that it's Pokemon, and the show has always been popular, especially with kids......

It's also the final season with the AG cast, so, May/Max/Drew/Harley went out with a bang at least.

When I was in junior high, the other students and the mass media seemed to brag that Pokémon was a passing craze and would be gone soon.

10 years later, this news comes up. Who's bragging now, eh?! :D

Wow this is really interesting, and I really was waiting for the day CN released there ratings. This just goes to prove every age group continues to love Pokemon no matter what :P.

Also PokemonTrainerLisa get real, if kids really love Pokemon they WON'T forget voices they heard for 8 seasons and 8 movies. If they do, so be it, all that matters is that you remember.

I'm assuming since these were the early episodes, that the newer ones might actually be more successful (in ratings).

And SpongBob getting dissed? I love my little sponge and he hasn't lost it! ^^

In reply to the Batman singing thing. Heh. ^^; > OH MY GOD, that was so hillariously disturbing. xD;;;;

Woohoo, for Pokemon!
WE WILL NEVER DIEEEEE. >D

That was an insult.

Glad to see their still mopping the floor with everything 'cept Nick.

Pfft. Fails compared to Batman singing the Jigglypuff song.

That was actually funny, though. The Star-Spangled Banner thing, however, is a musical abortion.
