Eh. Can't really say.

Metapod.

Kakuna, ever since I noticed it has a tie. I always found Metapod a bit weird.

Kakuna. I'm totally biased because of that video, though.

Who is more useful when they evolve?
Metapod. Both are usable in-game, but Buterfree is the only one useable in competitive battling, because of it's almost 100% accurate Sleep Powder.
