Contest Battle of the Cuties~: Hydreigon VS Volcarona

A hard to beat smiling dragon vs a butterfly looking Pokemon with a move that can knock you out.

You heard me right lol, which one if the cutest? Being cute isn't all about looks, it's also about personality and the way a Pokemon delivers themselves and mostly, their disposition about themselves. These two aren't the cutest ever but they have a charm to them that stick out to me.

Who has the cuter design?

Who is the most poised/graceful in battle?

Who has the best disposition? (meaning how they see themselves; ex: do they smile alot, so they frown etc)

Who has the best charm?

Who has the cutest pre-evolution?

Which one would you be more comfortable with at the foot of your bed while you are asleep?

Hydreigon has a better design, IMO. To go from a two headed monster to a flying one-headed one is amazing.

Gotta go with Volcarona here. It's got all the makings of a cute 'mon
Adorably Pudgy? Check.
Fluffy? Check.
Diddy wittle wegs? Check.
Baby blue eyebawls? Check.
Large forehead? Check.

Being a giant moth also makes it the more graceful of the two. While Hydreigon has it's multiple heads and wings flailing about in choatic fashion, you've got the comparitively calmer Volcarona, elegantly fluttering back and forth across the field. And hell, what's more graceful than a Butterfly Dance?!

But Hydreigon has the cuter pre-evolved forms. You can't beat dopey looking dragons with the larval form of Arceus' head, I'm afraid!

'Cute' is an interesting take on these pokémon, but I suppose that Volcarona has a sort of sweetish, teddy-bear-like quality now that I look at it.

As for the question, Hydreigon is cuter. Way cuter. It battle and once it defeats you, it does it with a smile. (n n). but Volcarona is fluffy and elegant. Ah still the latter.

But yeah, Hydreigon (Sazandra) all the way. (I almost typed "Hydregion" there... screw you, English names.) But then again, I'm the guy who thinks that Giratina is cute.

When I first saw Volcarona (Ulgamoth), I thought she was pretty ugly... :scared:

However, throwing away those predispositions, let's answer a few of your questions.

Doesn't this basically answer the question, "who is cuter"?

Who is more poised/graceful in battle?
Never tried picturing Ulgamoth before, but I'd still have to say Sazandra anyway. Sure, it eats everything in its path, but although both of them have six wings, I don't think Ulgamoth can move all of them independently to manoeuvre very well.

Who has the best disposition?
Ulgamoth has no mouth :<

Who has the best charm?
Charm? Ulgamoth in that picture looks like some queen sitting on a throne, waiting to smite somebody.

Meanwhile, Sazandra looks almost like it's wearing a suit :3

Who has the cutest pre-evolution?
This one goes to Ulgamoth. Deino (Monozu) and Zweilous (Jihead) look like Beatles, who certainly are not cute >_>

But ever since seeing that depiction of Larvesta from Drakon's The Gray Dawn, I have to agree that that one seems to be cuter.

A Pokemon doesn't need to be like Zorua or Skitty to be adorable! I'm glad people realize this, even if it's just a few. D8 I think Giratina and Dialga are adorable as well!

As for these two...huh... Hydreigon is indeed very adorable, as are his prevos. Volcarona is also cute in a pudgy, as is Larvesta. I can't just choose here, so I voted for both of them. ;A;

Hard to say. Volcanora shines like the sun so he won't let you sleep, but Hydreigon is constantly flailing and do you have any idea how annoying that could get at night?

Anyway, Volcanora wins me over by a pinch. I really do like Hydreigon a lot, but according to its Pokedex entry, it would probably eat you whole if you call it cute, so I think that for this category, Volcanora's the winner.

Volcanora is squishy. So it's cuter. I imagine squeezing it's body and an orange ooze comes out.
Hydreigon's design looks like inspired from the 4chan boards.

That's a hardy. Hydreigon is sooo cute and it smiles and you can pinch it's cheekies :3 but Volcarona to me seems like a big teddy bear. He's fluffy and seems like one who would want to comfort you at night.

I pick Volcarona, sorry Hydreigon.
