Soooo....you moved to a big city for a place to live, to battle other trainers, and/or just to explore and hang around. Where should it be?

I've been a big-city boy myself, and living in a city is something that I am familiar with. In addition, the world is progressively undergoing urbanization; by now, more than half of the world's population are living in cities now. So, without further ado, let's have a vote on the three biggest cities in the three Poke-nations of Poke-Japan, Poke-USA/Pokemerica, and Poke-France!

- Safferon City, Poke-Japan
Safferon City is the big city in the Kanto Region with many corporate HQs based in the city. It is also arguably the national capital of Poke-Japan. Several years ago, the whole city was overrun by Team Rocket, a Yakuza group hell-bent on taking over the Kanto region. However, this was quelled by a trainer named Red, who eventually moved on to become the current Champion of the Kanto region. It is also considered to be the transport hub, with a Linear Shinkansen providing a direct access to Goldenrod City, as well as easy access to Cerulean, Celadon, and Vermillion Cities. The Gym Leader is Sabrina, a mysterious and sexy lady who wields Psychic Pokemon. In its day the Psychic Gym was the most powerful Gym which struck fear in even the most badass trainers, until counter-types has been discovered. It is also home to one of the legendary mimic artists who can mimic anyone, and everyone at short notice.

- Castelia City, Pokemerica
Castelia City is the harbour city of the State (and region) of Unova, and is the economic powerhouse of Pokemerica, with most multinational corporations have a branch office in Castelia City. One company of interest is the Battle Company in which trainers can battle employees as part of the company's research. As the city has been a harbour town, numerous immigrants have passed through the custom gates of Castelia Harbour. The resulting rich multiculturalism of this city resulted in a city that provides more than just money; indeed, it is a home for artists. One such artist is Burgh, who is also a Bug-Type Gym Leader, and there are many other aspiring artists who look up to Burgh. On a clear day, one can see the Liberty Gardens from the Unity Tower, a spectacular technicolor view indeed!

- Lumiose City, Poke-France?
Lumiose City is the focal metropolis in the Kalos region, and is arguably the national capital of Poke-France. Many artists, musicians, chefs, and roller-skaters call the city home in search for a heaven to refine their arts. With its Hausmannian boulevards to its small alleyways, with its shining Lumiose Gym Tower to the grand old terraces of days past, and with its high-end restaurants to its worldly cafes, there is always a place to explore in this elegant metropolis. Do keep in mind, though, that some places are not happy having lowly plebeians and other yobbos mixing with the beautiful people. The current Gym Leader is Clemont, who wields Electric type Pokemon. He is also an inventor, who contributed in upgrading the electricity infrastructure of Lumiose City. It is also home to Professor Sycamore, who researches Mega Evolution, and is a really handsome sexy gentleman. And then there's Trevor, a young and aspiring researcher who travels around the region with his Pokedex.

I love the Castelia City. Although I think they could have done better in making it the microcosm of New York City, I still enjoyed and love the feel of the city.
The tall huge buildings and people in a hurry, also the few alleys they had. I always enjoy finding out the small details and surprises of the area.

Lumiose City all the way, its fun to explore, has a bazillion buildings and people, and has its own side quests with Looker.

I pick Castelia. The largeness took me by suprise and I find those NPC running/walking that you can't touch funny.

Lumiose by a long shot, it actualy feels like a large city, Castelia looked like crap and it didn't feel like a big city at all.

I like Lumiose City the most out of these three. Just like NYC, I find Castelia City to be too big and overwhelming. I get lost there all the time and it's really frustrating. I personally don't find Saffron City interesting at all, and I think if I lived there I would spend most of my time going to Celadon or Goldenrod Cities, to be honest.

Lumiose City is big, but I never find it as overwhelming as Castelia. And while I get lost there as well, I at least have fun getting lost because there are so many small stores to find throughout the city. I think I would have fun just walking around the city to find something new.

I'm pretty sure the cities surrounding Saffron are meant to be like suburbs. I haven't been to Kalos yet so I can't comment on Lumiose, but Castelia City I avoid like the plague. It's a total disaster and feels like one of those planned cities nobody wants to live in. So... Saffron I guess!

Saffron for me. It seems like the smaller of the three cities, at least to me, and Castelia and Lumiose are so huge. I'd probably get lost, especially given how directionally challenged I am. .-.

Lumiose, it has a better music theme and a good location for Egg hatching.
