Which Pinniped (underwater fin-footed mammal) pokemon do you guys think is the best?

  • All were introduced in a odd numbered-generation
  • All of their basic stages acted in a silly role in the anime
  • All have a weapon attached to their bodies.
Dewgong: Horn on head
Walrein: Tusks on mouth
Samurott: Swords on front leg armor

Dewgong has always been one of my favorite water-type, even if it is arguably the worst of the 3 battle-wise, so I voted for it.

Samurott. Who doesn't like a sword-slashing samurai otter thing? I have to give credit to the seal over there too. :)

There is far too little love for my big lovable walrus here.

He can take a hit, he can cause great damage, and he just looks beautiful.

People who who give their Dewotts Everstones or Eviolites..........I feel sorry for those kind of people :<

Those people probably wanted a super-cool Bipedal Water Samurai instead of a four-legged shogun.
Meh, the four-legged shogun can also stand bipedal too. Maybe they prefer scalchops over swords.

I <3 Walrein. It looks cool, and it doesn't have to use shells (whatever they are) as weapons because it's not cheap at fighting (unlike Samurott). :D
(
P.S. I'm just kidding, so all Samurott fans can calm down.

Aww, rats, that's one hard choice right there! I love Walrein, but I love Samurott too.

I like Walrein because it looks oddly cute while being powerful (I like many Pokémon of that genre...); it's a beast under the hail - I had a hail team and its stalling capacities helped me through many battles. Healing 12% per turn? Yes, please! Besides, its defences are nothing to laugh at.

Then there's Samurott, the deadly yet somewhat elegant samurai. Its moustache is awesome, and while I don't mind its quadruple stance, the artwork/fanart depicting him as a bipedal take its coolness to a whole new level. While it doesn't have as much battle potential as Walrein, my Samurott, my Emboar and my Whimsicott had a great synergy which helped me along my journey in Unova.

However, I'll have to chose one, and, maybe because it's the one I have used most recently, Samurott gets my vote.

Dewgong, always liked him, even though I don't use him, maybe it's because of the design, lol. I also like the Water/Ice types, and I like the real seals too. I think he's cuter than Seel and also liked to see him in the movies an anime. Gong!

I think Walrein is great too. Hes one of the best pokemon ever introduced from Gen III :]

Dewgong. I don't care if its stats are crap, or if there are a ton of better Water/Ice types out there. It looks adorable, and it doesn't have a mustache like the other two, so I'm picking Dewgong. It can also use Encore and Disable, which means that Dewgong is incredibly fun to use in-game.

Samurott gets my vote - best design, and it's probably my second-favorite water starter after Swampert. Walrein's probably not far behind, though; it's massively underrated.

Samurott for its better design, stats, and movepool. Makes me wish GF could've given him Ice as a secondary type to expand the presence of the type in Unova and provide STAB Ice Beam.

Samurott! One of my favourite Water type Pokemon. Wish it was something other than pure Water though.

Voted for Walrein. Though I hate the fact that it's primed for Special Attacks despite its appearance, I find it's still the most badass-looking of the three choices.

Samurott gets my vote for being a sea lion, a samurai and my favourite Pokemon of all time. I cannot express my love for this thing enough, it's adorable, majestic and many other adjectives that I don't have time to list.

Walrein is pretty cool too though, and definitely one of the better Ice-types out there. It's 32-turn stall set is insane under the right conditions.

Dewgong is alright, but the fact it's classified as the "sea-lion" Pokemon annoys me, because clearly resembles a phocid seal, not an otariid.

OK, as much as I love the other two, It's going to have to be Walrein. It's pre evolutions are cute as hell, it's great in a battle, it's got a cool Japanese name (Todoseruga) and it's cry is amazing.

I really hope it's in BW2
