the starter pokemon start with ether pound, tackle, or sratch depending on whitch pokemon you chose. all of them are the same, so this is all about whitch anamation you like best.

i chose scratch because claw based moves look epic, and are useuly strong. of course, scratch isnt strong though, but none of the choices are strong moves.

Tackle is actually better than the other two in Gen 5, I think, so I picked it. (50 power, 100 accuracy)

Tackle, due to its increased power in Gen V. One of the best Gen V. improvements(if not THE best!).

Yeah, Tackle is a great improvement, from the least powerful among the three moves to the most powerful of them all, not to mention becoming perfectly accurate (seriously, it was 95%!). It makes a lot of Pokemon great early-game, like Snivy and Lillipup. Before that, though, Pound sounds the best because I don't like Scratching. That hurts more compared to a pounce.

Thanks for reading.

Even though Tackle is now the best of these three moves as of Gen V, I will never forget or forgive all the times it missed with 95% accuracy in the earlier Gens.

I voted for Pound because striking with force without relying on sharp claws is impressive.

I voted for Scratch simply because I much prefer it's animation compared to the other ones.

In real life Scratch would be more likely to kill someone (in the right place). In the games pound, no idea why
