I like to play double battles more than single battles because of the combinations you can combine and make them support each other which makes them stronger. So i go with a ground type and a flying type pokemon.
Rhydon Ground/Rock Type
Items- Black Belt- makes fighting moves better
Move Set List
Hammer Arm- pwns just about every normal type, and ice and steel its boosted with Black belt so it could kill just about everything in 2 hits, although this move decreases speed so he is only good for like 2 battles if i use this move
Iron Tail- idk why i have this 1 i barely use it
Earthquake- this pwns just about everything that doesnt fly, so thats why my second choice pokemon is powerful. becuz he flies
Rock Blast- shoots everything that flys out of the sky. ive noticed many of the best pokemon such as dragon have a second flying type so rock is supereffective.
Charizard Fire/Flying Type

Flamethrower- a good accurate move that pwns Rhydon's weakness. Charizard is 1 of the fastest pokemon so he exterminates grass types quickly.
Fly- i have this move to fly to cities obviously, not that powerful unless im against fighter types
Blast Burn- pwns everyones face but i have to recharge 1 of the most pwrful moves
Fire Blast- just about the same as blast burn but doesnt have to recharge.
