How does it work? What does all the options do?
 
I havent Got a clue to be honest but i think after you do 7 wins you get this thing called a mystic cup that you fill up in a river in the second town- it heals your pokemon instantly- but thats all i know!!
 
The receptionist on the far left of the battle tower will take you to the double battle rooms, where you team up with a person via wireless connection or you can battle with a person who you escort in the game (ex. Buck from Stark Mountain). The middle lady is the person you probably want to talk to. That activates normal BT challenges. The far right lady will help you in wi-fi connected battles.
 
Simple questions thread.

Ahem, anyway, The battle tower does many things. You are put through battles against 7 people at a time, with three pokemon apice. After every 7 runs, you get a certain number of Battle Points, or BP, which are used to purchase things at the tower. After a certain number of wins, you face the Tower Tycoon, who is your rivals brother, and he gives out more BP. When you get 100 wins, you get a star on your trainer card.

There are single battles, double battles with a computer partner, one of the people you partnered with in the story, and double battles with a wi-fi partner.
