Jacob and Blaine shoved a cynderblock into the door to keep it open. They then headed out onto the roof of the only apartment complex in Pantheon.

"Bro, I can't believe this is the only place we can get wireless. Couldn't the tourney execs send us a router or somethin'?"

"Blaine, they figure that if we can get on the internet to play Mugen normally, we can get on for the tournament."

"Yeah, well, I'm gonna trounce these guys. I don't care if Vampire is hard to control, I'm using it in the tourney."

Jacob rolled his eyes and set up their laptops to connect with the wireless.

OOC: This is before the tournament happens, so everyone is still human at this point, okay?
 
A.D sat at his computer, continuing to train Caliga for the upcoming tournament. Right now, he was combating another player's character, Caliga having summoned the Dark Blade and attacking fairly strongly. He had Caliga move away from his opponent and throw several Dark Discs, as A.D had named them, towards the character.
 
"Bro, why are we up here so early, anyway? The tourney isn't for another hour."

"Because our wireless is a college kid hacking into an apartment complex's wireless discreetly, and it sucks. Badly. So we need to get there before the bandwith is screwed."
 
Caliga resummoned the Dark Blade and charged at the opponent, dealing a powerful blow which resulted in Caliga's win. A.D decided to begin making his way to the tournament, even with an hour left, as there may have been more powerful players to train with. He made Caliga drop a heal potion for his opponent, so he wouldn't be taken advantage of by n00bs, before making his way to the tournament.
 
Izumi was at her computer, setting up the finishing touches to Izu-Zu-Chan. Izu-Zu-Chan was currently at the altar of the Sky Sanctuary, Izu-Zu-Chan then jumped off the altar, and landed on the ground with both feet.
"Hm... Equip this... Yeah, I'm going to need Holy Crystal for recovery and its strong magic.... I should also go with the basic elements as well." She smiled as her character spun around the First Tsurugi, and then placed it behind her back as the Izumi hummed the Final Fantasy Victory theme. "Now I gotta go train for a bit."
 
Akira was on his laptop, awaiting the start of the tournament. He decided to tune in on some music, and then log into the game with Crow.
"Meh... it may not be for another hour, but hell, why not get in a little training... and maybe edit Crow a little, heheh... This guys gonna pwn in this tourni~" Akira said as he finally managed to log in with his character. He was spawned at the Midnight realm.
"Ah... midnight... how I longed thee..." he had said, as he begun to venture forth through the area.
 
Pu5h and Cursed appeared in Orbita, floating through space.

"My favorite part about Orbita is that nothing is part of the landscape," Pu5h said and a rock rocketed toward them, courtesy of his power. It connected with their feet, then rushed towards the portal to the tournament arena.
 
"I guess this counts as a date," Neil said to himself, as he logged onto Tranquility in Mugen, "Ready to spar?" said Misery, Aubrey's character.
 
Izumi finished editing out her things, Izu-Zu-Chan's crystals floated around her, each of them a circular shape(except for the Holy Crystal, which has a sharp diamond like shape to it), they each give off their own glow according to the elemental power that it posses. The crystals put up a transparent barrier around her. She split the First Tsurugi into its separate swords, they floated around her cause of the Psychic Crystal's power of carrying objects.
 
A.D had Caliga stand outside the building and await any challenges from the gathering players. He knew some idiot would attempt to show off and challenge the shady one standing there, which wasn't exactly his personality but hey, he at least looked the part.

Cursed walked in the register them both, but Pu5h stayed outside. He wanted to warm up, and knew some n00b would try and show off to the 5th strongest player.

"Are you in the tournament?" some werewolf-themed guy asked.

Before he had said 'yes', the werewolf jumped at Pu5h. Push ((I'm getting tired of doing the 5, but he's still technically Pu5h)) seemed to punch him, but the punch was powered up by his powers. The werewolf didn't even fly backwards; he just died right there, destined to respawn 5 places lower.

"I'm not even sure if that was a warmup," he said to himself.
 
Izu-Zu-Chan walked towards a portal, created by her, and ended up Orbita, more importantly, right outside the tournament area. "I just love shortcuts." Izumi smiled as Izu-Zu-Chan walked inside. She knew that some of the n00b players would try to trade for her rare items, challenge her to a match for it, or try to just impress one of the Top 10 players. She turned around to see a werewolf themed character die in an instant. Izumi chucked, and looked at pu5h as she typed, and said, "Lemme guess, another n00b player trying to challenge you again, Pu5h?" She asked, knowing most of the Mods, cause she was one herself, she knew Pu5h quite well, only being 2 ranks away.
 
"Yeah. Only one punch this time. At least it wasn't as bad as the time my aura alone killed a guy."

Cursed walked out.

"Hey, bro, we're signed up. Hey Zu-zu!"
 
Crow used the Warp Pannel in the Midnight Realm to make his way to the Tournament area. When he arrived, he was shocked to see all those whom were already there.
"Hm... guess I should hurry and get to the registry..." He said to himself as he walked around the area.
He thought about taking the time, and test out his newly modified Reaper Claw, but he thought the sign-up was far more important.
 
Shift and Misery went to the tournament area by use of a sky portal, they looked around the participants, "This isn't going to be easy," said Shift.
 
Caliga was offered to battle by some goblin-esque character wearing some Supra-Armour, something the n00bs had hacked into which prevents any magick energies harming the character. The Admins were always deleting characters with the armour, so it was only a matter of time before this one would be gone as well. A.D declined, but the goblin attempted to attack anyway, the goblin attempting to strike Caliga with his axe. Caliga was merely ordered to dodge, as with the following attack. Caliga continued dodging for a while, not really wanting to fight, even with the flurry of insults coming toward him.

A.D noticed signups were beginning, but couldn't get close because of the goblin blocking his character from it.
 
Izu-Zu-Chan smiled, "Hi Cursed!!" She yelled out happily. "Right now, I have to hurry up and register, before all the slots are taken, see ya in a bit~" She said as she ran towards the registrations, and got herself registered for the Tourney. Izu-Zu jumped up in the air in glee, and Izumi squealed in happiness. "This is gonna be so much fun!!"
 
"Hey bro," Cursed said to Pu5h as he pointed towards a goblin armor. "Look familiar?"

"Yeah, one second." Pu5h disappeared for a second, then reappeared with a strange device.

"Hey guys, it's a goblin armor. Should we delete him?"
 
A.D got annoyed by the Goblin, before finally clicking the Dark Disc Attack on his character. Caliga obeyed and fired the disc, sending the goblin flying and lowering his HP to 0. A.D was instantly called a haxxor for this, but it wouldn't matter since he'd be deleted soon. A.D then had Caliga sign up, walking past a group of people without a second look.
 
After finally being able to sign up for the tournament, Crow grew bored, and scoffed at the competition.
"Hmph... half of the n00bs here don't even look worth the time... Where's the real challengers at..." He then looked around the area, to only see the highly ranked players, Cursed, Pu5h, and Izu-Zu-Chan, all gathered here as well.
"Damn....Haha, well, this should be fun after all..."
