What would commpetive battling be like...but in the Anime? Like using a Drought Team and all that...How would it work out? What would change? What do you think?
 
I... actually can't imagine that working out in the anime, at least not the way it does in the games. We could have a character who trains their Pokemon meticulously and uses huge amounts of complex strategy in battle, but I don't think they'd be able to emulate a game team - the mechanics just don't work the same way between the games and the anime most of the time.
 
It will look different in the anime since you can do so much more in there compared to the games. If someone specializes in rain teams they can have whatever pokemon lead off with a rain dance, and have swift swimmers following that on the team. Its not gonna be as rigid as in the games
