I got the idea for this poll when I was on vacation, so here we go; Which do you prefer? I myself like Swimming pools far better. No searching far and wide for a spot, no sand everywhere, the water is cleaner and has better temperature and no salt taste in your mouth. But that's me.

Also this poll is only about Swimming Pool's and Beaches/seas/oceans, so no lakes, rivers or whatever.
 
I prefer the beach, because it's more open and you can do more. You can swim, boat, play volley ball, drink disgusting water, get stung by a jellyfish, ETC.

I don't like pools if they're jam packed, because I prefer being farther from people I don't know.

I went with the pool. Mainly for the lack of sharks... and the generally smaller crowd.
 
If I throw a rock out of my window, it'll land on the beach. I've lived in two houses, both have been metres away from a beach, I guess I kinda grew up there. However I prefer cliffjumping to both, I prefer the chlorine-free water, and there's no sand... plus it's awesome fun. :)
 
I prefer pools. My mom gets extremely paranoid so I can't even swim if we go to the beach DX
 
Swimming pools. I don't have to worry about dirty, salty water, being knocked over by waves, or being pulled by the water.
 
pool, as long as it's not a public pool. those things are pretty grimy
 
Pools, as long as they're clean.
 
I said swimming pool just because it's not so disgusting and unpleasant when you get out, but I do like boogie boarding.
 
Beaches. I've always lived by them, so I'm pretty much impartial to them. I don't really mind the sandy water or anything like that either. Plus, there's more to do at a beach. You can shop, relax, and swim. At pools, you have to go to like 20 million other places and they tend to be crowded.

..Then again, beaches here are crowded in the summer time. Damn tourists.
 
I like the Beach.
More of a variety, and you aren't confined in one spot.

Beaches for the sand, but I like swimming pools because I know what's beneath me.
 
Beach. It's just more appealing to me and I hate it when the pools are crowded.
 
Has no one here ever been to a crowded beach? It's harder to find a spot to lie down your towel on the beach than it is to swim in the swimming pool. Way harder.
 
Beach. Chlorine is a major irritant to me. I may be allergic to it.
